how did u get the smoother camera rotation at 2:45 plz ??
@octaviosilva58082 жыл бұрын
Absolutely great video, but one suggestion I want to give you (From my experience) is that, rotation is a very sensitive thing. Over-using left right rotation can lead to motion sickness. So yeah, no hate just my experience 😅
@marpetakdev2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I can surely give the rotation smaller values. Or even add an option to disable that in the final game!

Can you share the code for the left and right tilt? I am new to UE5 and would love to also get this in my game, this would be much appreciated, thanks!

Would love to see an update on this soon, it’s pretty similar to a project I’m working on!

Saw a gdc talk that said for 3D you want to change camera's rotation cuz if you do position you risk it clipping into objects. In 2d you do position (obviously)

In my opinion the fundamentals of good feeling movement is more about how the player pawn's acceleration logic, deceleration and friction is handled.
@robertoestrada3997 Жыл бұрын
You can solve this problem more easily by using camera shakes. I also suggest giving players a small aim point at the center of the screen to avoid motion sickness. Great content! Keep working hard on your game!

Any chance you could share the BP for the head bob? Having trouble finding resources that aren't using camera shake or 'true fps'. Great video! Cheers!

If you got the animations needed, you can just set the parent socket to head, and it will more realistic, because the cam follows the head, with the pumps, rotation, and movement. 😂 I tried it my self

whats the point in making the sword pickupable.... if you dont use anything else anyway?...
@morganlak43372 жыл бұрын
Just gotta let you know that camera animations and view bob for walking etc make quite a few people sick so you should make your game feel good without it, and have an option to disable it I'm the final game
