To be fair, Grian isn't all that skilled outside his era of expertise regarding building. Grian has even admitted he builds better with old Victorian designs vs Modern. He saids he doesn't like building modern buildings simply because of the difficulty in it and the different color schemes used. In many ways, Modern buildings are more difficult to build because its less focused on details and more on the shape of the building. I am the same way regarding modern building designs, Although I am good at building, I am just like Grian with regards of not liking Modern designs. Modern Designs can be beautiful, but its difficult to pull off.

Hey mumbo! You should have built an orbital station, where that rocket would blast to. Also, the rocket would be able to land on the launch pad, making it as an "elevator". That Orbital station would be the main base, what would be something, like the ISS, but would be built in solar panels, fusion turbines, and nuclear reactors. There would be plants (farm), some machines, some sensors, a space shuttle that would lead to an another space station. I recommend to "store" the rocket in a chamber, which would be closed, once the rocket would be inside of it. I would have worked more with the "capsule" of the rocket, so you would be more comfortable in it, also some storage systems, some trapdoor switches (flying machine switch, the trapdoor flips and the observer gives an output), some sensors and some windows. That would be cool, if the astronaut could start the counting from the capsule and could see the counting back.

Ok, this was a conventional rocket without purpose which is pretty cool, but you can do better: I challenge you to rebuild that rocket so that an upper capsule could be released, setting of a mechanism which sends the rocket back to the launchpad where it could be reused. The capsule would then continue to a 'space station' at build limit, from where the capsule could, again, be sent back to the launch pad onto the rocket to be repurposed. For inspiration check out SpaceXs videos.

The tower is called the Launch Umbilical Tower (LUT) and actually doesn't hold the rocket at all, but is there to provide: a) fuel b) electricity c) crew access d) lightning protection On the Saturn V, the rocket was held vertically with hold-down arms at the base, which can be seen detaching during the launch. On the STS - Space Transport System - more commonly referred to as the shuttle, it used frangible nuts around the base of the SRBs (solid rocket boosters, the white things on the side), which are nuts that are explosively split instead of using explosive bolts The Launch Complex 39 launchpads (the ones from which all Apollo and STS missions took off from) also were raised 13M due to the water table being very close to the surface, and there were two holes cut into it for the rocket exhaust that met with a ramp underneath the first stage of the rockets so it didn't create all manner of problems when it hit the bottom of the exhaust trench. I just went full nerd mode

New challenge! Pirates are pretty cool, but space/air pirates are even cooler. My challenge for Mumbo is to engineer a ship of some sort that can maneuver up down, left right, forward AND backward, ON COMMAND (So like the push of a button on deck). It would be really cool if it vaguely resembled a ship of sorts, and even cooler if it could turn 90°. I hope you take on and enjoy this challenge 👍
