2:29 .....I have a lot of RC toys including some pretty fast cars....nothing this crazy though. I built a big boat using 2 motors that size and 4 batteries like that and at 2/3 throttle and 60 MPH the boat would fly. If I could keep it in the water it would have been a 70+ MPH boat. Talking about a huge deep V made from heavy laid fiberglass and CF and with a run weight of 35 pounds. Not a super light outrigger. But anyway what I am amazed at is the size of the pinion gear on that motor. LOL.
@adammorris30823 жыл бұрын
Nice work as always, 185mph for a 1/10 sounds like a big ask... But I guess if anyone can get it to go that fast it'll be Raz - If i manage to get my 1/10 going this year as planned (hoped lol) I'll be happy with just the 85MPH for starters. All the best.

Dude, you should find better places to run. You’re costing yourself time and money with after-wrecks in ditches. That time repairing can be spent building and innovating.

So I see your not too far from great. I want to do this but I'd have to buy all the stuff and well I don't want to. But I am willing to try and be a big help drop your contact info and I'll be happy to make you a chassis/body that is wayyy more aero friendly at cost if thats reasonable. But love the channel and great work but some tips sealing the body to the chassis is gonna make a world of difference. another would be wheel wells and proper spillways. A clamshell deal would be the lightest most ridgid cost effective aerodynamic monococlike setup.

Hey, thank you. So you make rc parts?
@traviswilliams32094 жыл бұрын
That orange cockpit has only 1 issue, the replacement plate for the cockpit should be opened and bent down slightly to add some air there, seems from your video the cockpitless body is acting like an upside down aero wing having that concave just behind the nose area, creates a very low pressure area so opening the front area downward will suck some unneeded inside air to the top where you removed too much downforce. Looks great tho, I like how thorough you are with your stuff, cleaning and care

I said you would get to 166 mph..maybe 170! You of all people can do it. I suspect there is a lot of air that could be dispensed three the car as well. I suspect even the wind change or gusts can cause lifts and different speeds when you are at speeds like you are. This is only my opinion because I of course have never been close to these speeds with a RC car. Allegedly, I have been in a real car..lol..but allegedly doesn't count if they didn't catch me or get it on film!..;)
