Making / Throwing a Giant Pottery Easter Egg on the wheel

My first attempt at making a clay pottery egg on the wheel.
This is for a local Easter Egg hunt which is being held in Ingleton from March 29th.
It's not the easiest of shapes to make and closing it in is the tricky bit.
Anyway not bad for a first attempt.

It took me a couple of years before I could make anything that was even remotely decent, and then for some reason after all the struggling you can throw better. 20 years on and I'll admit I'm still learning new things, and you just keep on improving. BOBA THEE CAT I took a pottery class at my school and I can say this, it's not soothing until you get good You have to have a lot of patience and also, if the bowl or whatever looks good, stop touching it, quit while you're ahead, which I learned the hard way Also using smaller ammounts of clay is much easier for a beginner
