I enjoyed this video. It gave me some serious ideas. BTW, use a Dremel (or other rotary tool) and the different bits plus some sandpaper. That's what I use for anything that needs to be carved.

Me personally, I like the plain square trivet, but that is my own choice, they all look great, what kind of pads or feet are you adding to the bottoms and do they stick well to the coating that you are using, thanks for sharing.

The square one is my wife's go-to. I used little felt pads, you can get them almost anywhere, even Dollar Tree. If memory serves me correctly, I did add a dab of hot glue to help hold them in place.
