In 1971 my Mother used to feed her cat outside .She would Set the bowl of dry food out at the kitchen door ... Then one day she heard a ruckus and the Hadedas were fighting with the cats to get the food . So she put a second bowl 🍜 of food further away from the cats bowl... Every night the Hadedas come to eat . They have been coming for over 50 years now ... The original pair and now there offspring. If my mother is late , the birds come to the kitchen door and sometimes into the kitchen to tell my mother they want their food 😂😂😂

Great story! Sounds like my wife. She also sets out a separate cat food bowl for the birds, in our case for a bird called a Southern boubou. And they get all upset when "their" food is not there! I'm amazed that they don't meow like cats yet😄

Hello again Diff. Thank you for the shout out to the Canadians that have been devastated by forest fires. It has been an exceptionally bad year for us. Fires from coast to coast.
