Thank you Michael. These are a great complement to the books I am using to learn Go. The succinct summary of principle then showing application helps my retention.

Thank you very much for this beautiful series! Big respect to you for being able to explain these beginner concepts so well, when you‘ve progressed so far beyond them yourself! Thank you from a very grateful beginner!

Thanks for this. It is nice to hear an explanation from a real professional player. Not just a professional one, but a 9d one!

Thank you for explaining this. That game is an anomaly for me (literally just started playing 15 minutes ago) because I have severe discalculia but my visual perception is very strong, so it's a bizzare mix of perfect and nightmare for me. Your explanation is very helpful and you're very pleasant to listen to. I subscribed.

I don't know how discalculia might effect your ability to "read" sequences of moves, but I do know that some people can become very good at this game while mostly avoiding any mathematical calculations involving the size of territories.

Thanks particularly for explaining the larger shapes, an explanation that is not always given. I’ve subscribed to watch your future videos. All the best!

good point, no matter how big your territory is, if you cannot divide it in to at least two part, you are dead

You probably already noticed, but there's a small audio issue starting around 4:10, with your voice getting echoey.
