The way he describes everything is so methodical and clear. It makes it really helpful and teaches both the specifics of the lesson and just general Go strategy. Really great job :D Also can we talk about how nice this guys voice is, it’s so calm without being boring

As a 13kyu 9x9 player on ogs this was really helpful to help me get into bigger board sizes.

Great video! I would be very interested to see a follow up where you extend this game into the middle game, because I find that's always where I start to run into difficulties in my own play.

thanks a lot, sir. Thanks for what you have done all these years. I'm a Go beginner. I started watching your commentary of alphago vs Lee sedol and Kejie since last week. Your commentary helps me understand this game better. I'm so touched and glad to see you are still working on Go teaching after 4 years. Really appreciate it.

I would like to give you a tip to start a twitch channel - if you have not already - where people can watch you play live games. I know I would.

On twitch you could do live streaming of fun events like rengo tournaments, live games against other pros and strong amateurs and so on. It would be great.

May I request that you can make a video similar to this video, but you are actually playing against a human or computer opponent ?

Ironically the 3-4 is not three lines from one edge and four from the other but two and three.

Thank you for this video. I have been playing on 19x19 for some time now, but I think I'm still not very well-versed in playing the openings. I tried reading "opening go theory" but I still often have trouble knowing how to balance running out to try and surround an opponent vs attacking vs enclosing vs kakari. Is there a good formula for prioritization?
