I agree with the comments! There is absolutely nothing wrong with switching crafts. I have tried a little bit of everything! ATC’s, Scrapbooking, Art Journaling “clean & messy” jewelry making, painting, diy decor, knitting, crocheting, needle felting “my fingers will never be the same” diamond painting, sewing, etc. I love to try new things and explore creative ideas, you do what you like and if you get bored move on, you might want to come back one day, it doesn’t mean you’re giving up or can’t stick with it. I have found that if you don’t enjoy the craft style in the moment you won’t enjoy anything that you make. Just enjoy trying new things and exploring 🤗 now I’m off to start making some of these postage stamps myself 😂

Thank you so much Ashley❤️. And I get what you mean by your hands. I was making so much jewelry at one point, my hands started hurting so bad 😂. But it’s true, what you and everyone else said, so thank you so much!🥰

I love these faux stamps. It`s so hard to get pattern paper with tiny patterns, but of course, you have them...LOL Thank you for the inspiration :) I can`t see what`s wrong with constantly trying out new things. I find it far more strange when people do the same old same old for years. There are crafters and there are artists who also craft. In life, we all go through different phases. On our creative journey, we change and so do our tastes and our interests. A creative and investigative mind gets bored very easily, especially by doing and repeating the same things in a loop. A mind like that is constantly on the quest for the new "perfect" :)

I love your content. And a lot of what you’ve said resonates with me. I’m an artist. I work with acrylics mainly. But art block sucks and having different creative outlets helps so much. I’m sure that working with your hands and making stuff is so satisfying to you as it is to many of us that play around with different mediums :) All in all, post whatever your heart desires. You don’t have to stick to one thing I’m sure many of us will just continue watching

Thank you so much Kat 😊. And yes, art block does really suck, that's why we do have to have different things we enjoy doing. And may I ask what you like to paint? Anything specific?
@katfox6782 жыл бұрын
@@A.E.CStudio absolutely! Plus playing with different mediums opens up your horizons and expands your ideas with your medium of comfort it’s weird in a good way lol. I usually paint landscapes. Mainly focused on water and clouds. I looove the movement of water it’s captivating. I’ve been trying to delve into greens like forests but it’s taken a while lol. I go through phases too 🙃

Ahh Alex this one helped me a lot recently I was trying to make some stamps without those stickers and I used distress ink and designed paper and the stamp sticker to make it and I used magazine cutouts instead of stickers and it looks pretty good thnx for the inspiration! ✨❤️

I thought all of us artistic people dis that , I think we get bored of it or we’re not into it at that time but we go back to it . It’s not bad , then we combine these crafts . Like scrapbooking , then you jump to journaling , some of the things can inspire using things differently. I have jewelry stuff but I don’t use it for jewelry , I use to tole paint and now I put paper on wood and the jewelry and it is gorgeous. So keep jumping and have fun and don’t listen to people , I had people tell me to get rid of things and no I had to buy more . You’ll always use your stuff , it might take time but you will .

*Consider yourself a "generalist" specializing in creative crafts.* I can't even imagine only doing one thing my whole life or only learning one skill in some field. Utterly boring. Creative people love to learn. That's a total plus, in my book.
