I have been using Blender to Make Concert Visuals for over Five years! Today I want to show you my process! Love the new format, would be helpful to mention at the beginning of any of your vids with this new format to preface to viewers that this is not a direct tutorial -- as I noticed you need basic to novice understanding of geo-nodes to grasp what is being done. Otherwise, great format!

You should try using a float curve node instead of a colour ramp whenever you’re working with float data. A colour ramp takes more computing power, since it’s working with multiple colour channels.

Thanks for sharing some great info! Not a fan of the over-the-shoulder format of the video tutorial. It's nice to be able to see your UI elements clear -- I know you are showing the "broad strokes", but I feel like there is always something to learn when watching someone else click around UI. I don't need the cuts of a video to keep my attention if I am interested in learning something... this format disconnects me from the keystrokes and seeing how you work on a granular level... but I guess that is just my taste. I love seeing the kinds of work you are putting together. Blows my mind to see how blender can be incorporated in so many ways. Great stuff! (edit-- I understand the push as a "preview" and a way to funnel to Patreon. Totally understand now!)

Back in the day laserium type concerts were the rage, like the WHO concerts or Moody Blues. There were always concert goers who would throw up, but I think that was more due to the overload on mushrooms haha.

My question Is how to go from these visuals to the huge concert backdrop. I guess for starters is a 1920 x 1080 what I need to create. Is that size universal to project or is it always different. Maybe a tutorial on not the visual itself but after the fact. For instance I have made my trippy visuals now what. Finding clients, pricing the work, what formats and sizes do they need etc. Basically what is your process/workflow to get your work up on the stage? Thanks Ducky

Not really. Pickyness and details demanded in this field pretty much disbands AI results from use. Something okayis on screen is a disaster when blown up to several meters, HDR dynamic range, ect... not to mention having it nicely looped.
