Amazing work, very inspiring. Bought a 10-3061 and a featherboard per your videos. Thanks for sharing! Ready to make some boxes and organizers!

Awesome, thank you! Note that I've recently made some improvements to my planer sled approach for thin pieces, and have a new video on that subject I'm working on now, should be published by this weekend.

Can I glue solid wood on a plywood core? Won't it be a problem when the solid wood expand knowing the plywood won't expand?

You can glue solid wood on a plywood core. The plywood layers are made up of solid wood, so adding another layer of solid wood will only make it more stable, and not be a problem

@@jkmwoodworking The problem is the expansion of the thicker slabs a solid wood french oak. Yes, the plywood it's made of wood but it's made from very thin veneers... the expansion of the veneers is very small

GREAT video! Your re-sawing approach seems really sound, and I really like your approach to using shims under the center of battens. Any thoughts on using a veneer vacuum press in place of a mechanical press?

Thanks! I would like to try a veneer vacuum press, but I don't have a vacuum pump. It's on my list to get sometime in the future.
