Making World 1 From Super Mario Bros. 3 - Using Polymer Clay

Today we will be creating the map of world 1 from Super Mario Bros. 3! This may or may not become a series where I create each and every world from Mario Bros. 3. Let me know what you think in the comments! Would you like to see more maps from this game? When I first began this map, I didn't think it would end of being this tiny! Sometimes the paper printout can be misleading... I do think it's pretty fun to make things at this tiny scale though.

Love it can’t wait to see more the reason grass and rocks on world 1 is because it’s called grassland world 2 desert land world 3 water land world 4 giant land world 5 sky land world 6 ice land world 7 pipe land world 8 dark land I think or browsers world good job

@@Kerobyxclay Earthbound doesn't have an overworld map per se, but you could pick one of the town maps, such as Onett or Twoson. Any town from that game would be a decently complicated project, but definitely an awesome one.

Such stellar work! The level of detail and precision is off-the-charts here, especially with the Castle piece, as others have mentioned. The Toad Houses look super cute, as well. And I really enjoy listening to the commentary, as you explain the process, and how certain steps are unreasonably tedious - it's refreshing to hear such transparency! Wonderful work, Kerobyx! This was a delight to watch. :D

I found this hobby because of your Channel about a Year ago. A month ago I build my own SMB3 W1. Don't make videos, but it's a great, calming thing while watching movies or something. Whenever I watch you it still looks like you have way more of an idea what you are doing than me, but I still realy like it. My favorite Videos are those Map/World creations.

That's awesome to hear! I hope you continue to make things! You can hide a lot behind a camera. Half the time I don't know what I'm doing either. I just go for it lol. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you accept that nothing ever works how you want it to, you'll keep having fun! Have you consider precutting a template with a photo editor instead of printing the sheet and cutting with the knife? Or maybe isolating certain details so it's a cleaner cut.

I just made it to the scale that the bigger maps would fit the width of the paper. So I didn't really know what size I would end up with. I usually work better at small scales like this. I hope that answers your question lol.
