Love all this - you're awesome Chris! You are so knowledgeable - fantastic! A couple of things - I'm 73 and have used toner & moisturiser all my life and genetically am blessed with good skin. Now though, I'm getting serious! Your skin looks amazing but as you say you've been taking great care of it since your 20's. What about if I'm starting seriously now - can I improve it or is it beyond the pale?!! Do you have any tips on what we can take to help the body produce more collagen as we get older as you've said the body production of collagen diminishes with age it would seem logical to try and increase the body's own diminishing production. As there's a myriad of collagen products both topical and stuff you can take internally, have you researched this and if so what do you recommend? 😊🤩😍

I discovered Skin Envy before Chris posted in one of his videos. Its a mixture of essential oils. I use an eye cream with retinol then once its sets I put a drop of Skin Envy under each eye. Works beautifully and notice that I don't have to apply as much concealer. Sometimes just an eye corrector covers my dark circles.

I’ve never found any oil to truly moisturize anything, hair or body. But it is a great sealant after I’ve hydrated or moisturized.
@rainbowqueen187211 ай бұрын
Does anyone else suspect that Hyaluronic acid products are ineffective and possibly even counter-productive? If you use the stuff on it’s own, your skin feels so dry afterwards and certainly doesn’t seem to draw in the moisture that Dermatologists keep claiming. If you are unsure, just smear a little on your hair, let it dry, then feel / see the effect….yuck! It’s just ‘snake oil’ as far as I’m concerned and I was relieved to see that one KZbin dermatologist recently said the same thing but I can’t help thinking that the majority just echo each other without bothering to really seeking proof.

Ok as soon as i read...feels dry...I know you are using HA incorrectly. 1st b4 u do HA spritz your skin! THEN COVER WITH HA. That dry feeling is b.c u use it incorrectly.

@msimpson277910 ай бұрын
@@sassyd7286 Spritz skin with chlorine/fluoride free water B4 applying HA... then continue to spritz area until it loses the 'dry' feeling. HA is a humectant... drawing water into surface of the skin... then put either your moisturiser/oil to seal the moisture in.
@candicec651310 ай бұрын
Must immediately follow HA with moisturizer with barrier. Especially in a dry climate. Dry air pulls the moisture from skin

I would like to hear something about the tear throughs under the eyes? Or those can't improve?
@maalikserebryakov9 ай бұрын
I was born with that curse and researched it extensively. The reasons for tear trough are two: (1) Recessed infraorbital bones and lateral orbital bones. (2) Fat drifted away from your eye area. If you fix these two problems, you will not have tear troughs.
@dallai36159 ай бұрын
@@maalikserebryakov but how do you fix them? Is the filler the only way...? :(
@maalikserebryakov8 ай бұрын
@@dallai3615 Fat graft by a skilled surgeon is best. Fat is the body’s natural filler after all. Filler usually makes it worse once you dissolve it. I saw some excellent before and Afters with suneKOS injections too though. Meaning the tear trough could also just be from weakened skin. Tretinoin can help
