Great video. I've been using that tape for a while now. It does work great. When I do use it and zero off the spoilerboard I add a 3x5 index card under the probe block. This compensates for the height of the tape. Most of the time the piece will cutout and the tape is left over on the spoilerboard.
@IDCWoodcraft5 ай бұрын
laser31415, That's a great tip to use an index card under the probe block to compensate for the tape height. It's nice when the tape stays on the spoilerboard after the cutout-it means less cleanup for you! Keep up the good work!

I still remember my enxiety during my first projects and yeah actually the more i m practicing the more confidence i gain every time. Keep practicing 👍 Garret tought you well! You made Very good choices of toolpaths. I might make a flatbottom v carve for the pockets instead of rest machining with the 1/8 bit but hey there is no correct or wrong here its all about the the end result you after for. ???? So Liberty...a real question: I never understood using multiple bits on one project! So...really changing bits is like a new project, new Gcode and a new bit...except we use the same wood in the same spot??? I think I got it!! Thank you Professor! David Rodwell Winston Salem, NC

dcrodwell, That's right, David! Changing bits during a project allows for more intricate designs and details without having to start over. Each bit is like a tool in your toolbox for different tasks on the same piece of wood. Happy woodworking!

Nice video……I think some times the CNC is not the best way to do things. I think a router table would have been the better choice for the final round over.
