I've been using braided lines for years. I own a 1996 Dodge Ram since new and the brakes are horrible. I went to a dealership to have them installed and the mechanic refused to install them!!!(because they were not OE) He said they will not make the braking better anyway. So I want to another dealership (under the same owner) and had them installed. My brakes went from Horrible to Bad. The mechanic was wrong they did help!!! I have a dual piston set-up conversion for the front and a disk conversion for the rear to install, so I will go from Bad to Very Good (hopefully) on my truck. I did put them on my miata yrs. ago and love them!!! Thanks for another great video. Best Always,

Guys, I did braided lines, new rotors (StopTech) Mintex street pads, and Mazda factory rebuilt (Thanks, Moss!) rear calipers... Night and day difference.

The heads up about the bleeding order was so clutch! Love your vids! I own a S2k but just bought a Miata because I wanna know you know lol. New sub!

@@NappMotorsports thank you. After a week I love it. I love both for how different they are tbh. The s2k obviously has more power but it's not as "chuckable" as the NB. I'm looking forward to taking it to an auto x to really learn the car.

Great video. Nice looking brake lines. I still think leaving the wheels silver would look great

I agree, they just won’t stay clean for long.

Just found your channel a few days ago, really enjoy your opinion on the nb1. Will be upgrading the brake lines while I have summer tires mounted this week!

yes, I was watching this, haha. I count saving Dylan's dyno day as a plus since I had to replace one of my lines because of the wheel rub that destroyed mine... didn't know what I'd do with the other spare 3 in the set. At least we didn't need the same one. Another great video. Maybe a future addition is a review of all those tools you've found you didn't need but now can't live without.

if you take time to do stuff, a cut-in-hallf qtip fits into the brake hard lines really well to plug them

Nice video, need to sort the break on ours they're so bad. Any brake kit you would recommend? Was looking at some Wilwood kit which are rather good value.
@NappMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
I have wilwoods on the k swap and I really like them.
@joelavallee30742 жыл бұрын
Def watch that video I have the 4 corner wilwood kit and the kit he has on his k-swap is a better bang for the buck IMO.

Ah shit. Now I see what happened to mine. Installed incorrectly. My front left was hitting the upper control arm and I can see now there was a twist to it. It would hit the upper control arm turning and over the last few months it was on it bent until it split. Mental note check Napp videos first before installing or having someone else to do.

Had the same thing happen to a buddy. Definitely scary.

@@NappMotorsports yup. Was coming off an off ramp and the guy ahead hit the brakes so he could look I guess idk. Had to grab the hand brake to stop. Anyways great stuff you guys do. Well. Except for the 1.6 hate lol. Watch your latest video.

Doing my brake lines in the near future. I too was like, wtf....the furthest is the left rear. How much do the wheels weigh?

14.8lbs per. Not the best, but definitely not the worst.

Hey dude! Where’d you get your hardware from? I’m going to be installing coilovers and sway bar end links on my NA. Just wondering where you got that fresh hardware from? Mine definitely has some surface rust.
@NappMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
McMaster-Carr. Just measure the bolts and get the same sizes.

is thee thing about the bleeding brake lines apply for NC miatas too??

I’m not sure how the lines are run on the NC

I'm running the StopTech SS lines, which are my favorite from what I've seen available.
