When you pulled out the dremel my heart went a-flutter, Emma - I love the diversity in makeup from the beauty to artistry to SFX and you show the full package. Also, my dad is a sculptor who works largely in wood but definitely multimedia, so of course you got me there ;) But holy crap, my heart nearly stopped when your full plaster cast got stuck!! My dad's done a few pieces sculpting clay and casting in bronze, resin, (whatevs he wants) and he uses an art silicone (instead of plaster) that really sinks into the details and is flexible when pulling it off - I'm not sure how that would work with latex, but maybe less terrifying when you decide to do more character sculpts... (hoping there will be more, lol)? You've really seemed to spend the extra effort into exploring and improving your skills and it shows; I absolutely can't wait to see the zombie that comes from this. Cheers!

You are so creative and I admire you for it because you actually do something that is really unique and different amongst the beauty guru community! Will you film a tutorial using the prosthetics? Would love to see it! Since you make these prosthetics I feel like a huge inspiration for you would be the series the walking dead and I think that one of the pictures you used was actually from the show. Their prosthetics are incredibly realistic. If you are not already watching it I would highly recommend it. Apart from the prosthetics being really realistic the series itself is I think the most realistic zombie series I have ever watched and it's actually really good! You know that a series is good when it's hard to believe that this thing is not real and things like that don't actually happen! haha

Something you can do instead of cotton, is a foam latex. After you get a SOLID base layer that is WELL set, take latex in a bowl, add flour and stir well. You will now have bulky/foamy latex. It will be GREAT for bulking areas like this up. I guarantee it!

That accident happened, because applying the baseline with the fingers, do not reach the depths, it is better to use a spray releaser or apply it with brush, making sure, cover the entire surface. But thanks so much...Because , I learned a lot, it was the video I was looking for, to continue with my project. Again thank you for sharing.

Hello, Emma. I love this video by the way, and others. I noticed on your face cast that it had a nice sealed sheen to it. could you please tell me what you used to seal it. I am making a face cast of my 10 year old daughter in about two days. She wants to be a walking dead style zombie this year, and I want to make it perfect. If you could tell me what you used it would be a great help. Thanks in advance, and please keep the cool videos coming. Thanks again, Brian
