You two are very quickly becoming my favorite food vloggers, mainly b/c your reactions are enjoyable and you're nice about it. If you don't like it, "not my favorite" but at least it's respectful to the restaurant and a food others might love. And when you do love something, Mike getting up with his hands in the air after the Lechon, or trying to steal Nelly's mango drink, that's still one of my favorite vlogs :) The fact that you cook some of the dishes at home, when a lot of young generation of Filipino-Americans are losing the art...I'm guilty of it too :-/ Keep it up! I await your "Master Lechon-aire" video where you actually try cooking a pig! Just don't freak out the neighbors lol

Try going to Baguio City. Finished high school there. Pine trees and cooler climate. Strawberries and sunflower lined zigzag roads. Camp John Hay, a former US Military base, Philippine military academy, mines view park, haven’t been back since the 1990 earthquake but I heard there are a number of good restaurants there and a local brewery.

Wow, that place is so clean ....I remember in the 70s where I’d walk to my office where I worked, and that place was one big construction site. Makati is completely developed. How I loved strolling along Ayala Avenue! I’d walk the length and breadth of that beautiful avenue. Perhaps, you should try it. My biggest surprise was when I was watching KZbin and saw numerous subterranean tunnels. They are so posh, brightly lit, veeerrry clean and safe. Those tunnels are for crossing to the other side of the roads. Take a look. I’ll be there in July for holidays. Cheers from Spain!

an advice guys, in manila esp makati, some of the foods is very expensive than eating in provinces.. because of the cost of living... i wish you cook different kinds of adobo, and let your foreign friends try it... recipes are simple same adobo recipe you use then add additional ingredients such as: adobo+coconut milk = adobo sa gata adobo+pineapple juice and pineapple (small dices or crushed) = adobo sa pinya adobo+turmeric powder or (curry powder) = adobo sa dilaw adobo without soy sauce substitute soysauce with fish sauce = adobo sa puti adobo + anato oil(anato powder) + oyster sauce + sugar(optional) = adobong ilonggo (adobong pula) adobo + liver spread = adobo sa atay (liver) also 2 kinds of basic adobo adobo with sauce and the other one is pina-igang adobo or reduced adobo you let the sauce reduce until the sauce caramelize also some filipino dishes uses adobo technique like bagnet (famous lechon kawali from the north) some people in vigan cook the pork belly in adobo style then they dried it, after drying they fry it... also tapa is variation of adobo, soy sauce + vinegar or any acid then marinade it or cook it then dried it then fry it...
