Being an ex-logger I like to say great video. but while adjusting the chain on any chainsaw you should always pick up on the tip of the bar while adjusting chain tension

Was debating between the 10”, 12”, and 14”. This video sold me on the 10”. Other videos show there is a lot of power lost when bumping up to the 12” with the top handle. And the 14” pretty much doubles the tools length by adding the bar length and handle length. Great little truck saw/camping saw.

Hey Boss. Dolmar has been making Makita chainsaws for a long time. They make excellent pro grade saws, that compare with Stihl and Husqvarna. Might have to do some research cause I believe what used to be Sachs Dolmar is now Dolmar Makita. A lot of rental places even Depot use the Dolmar brand. If I was ever gonna get a battery powered saw I would definitely go Makita✌

I use the Stihl bar oil in everything. It's low viscosity lessens the "oil leaking" issue. I've also been emptying when I'm finished into a coffee filter to clean and put into a spare bottle. This works great. They even sell collapsible funnels made of silicone to put in the kit. Big fan of small chainsaws....

Great review Boss. I wish Makita had put that "normal" chain tensioning setup on the x2 saws rather than the toolless setup. I love my 14" x2 but the chain tensioning sucks and I expect it will break sooner rather than later.
