Fantastic review! I’m still on the 18 volt platform and have no reason to upgrade to the 40 volt system… yet. But I will at some point. #1 reason for me to upgrade would be for the 40 volt miter saws. Can’t beat Makita quality and reliability. My plumber has a box of broken Milwaukee stuff he has to send back for warranty.

Home depot had the big left circ saw 10 1/4 on special and it was the first mak40v tool I bought and the power is superior than the lxt tools, next I’ll get the drill/impact combo once it goes on promotional sale

I bought the 36 v with handle charger 2 battery's..according to reviews it was most torque for lifting with winch not drilling .so that's why asked u about this 40v one.i did consider buying it

I got the 36volt 2 battery one.for my grcs tree winch .is that model stronger than the 36volt. Double battery model.

Also they tested the so called stronger battery s from Milwaukee super hog.and they only give more run time and slightly more speed but not torque wich is what you want drilling or lifting more speed means just heats up bits faster. A lso they tested cold and warm battery s results were the same no difference. And the makita has handle you can run a auger bit to plant shrubs polesxztra

i have seen adds for makita 18v model with two speeds . could you review it . your charts are great but alot to process . would an actual comparison be possiable .
