rajaji was an intellectual only, not a mass leader and could not lead the people.........he was the best, decent and honest administrator without directly mingling with public.....that's why he could not read the pulse of people.......he should have named the system of education he wanted to introduce as "vocational course" (which he did not interpret even though it was the same)............his political opponents made best use of his act and had spread poisonous virus among the public's mind as "குலகல்வி திட்டம்" by exaggerating that being a brahman he did not want other community persons to go to school and read..........our fools always believes false preachers only...........on the other hand, rajaji was sticking to his guns and did not take back the order issued by him........he (only c.m. in india uptill date) had then resigned as c.m. on moral grounds............his farsightedness only came into existence sooner in our country overall.........now everywhere his vocational system of education is implemented.
