I saw you in Imagine Dragons concert opener and was so impressed with your performace. The freedom with which you express yourself. I really enjoyed it and enjoy listening to all your music now. I hear the pain, i think a lot of creatives go through that and its what makes them shine even brighter. I know for sure you are rising to greater heights, its a big responsibility but you wouldnt have it if you werent ready. Youre an awesome human being, keep sharing and like Dan said, sharing is what makes you realize you are not alone. ❤️🔥

Great interview! But also! I need Jae to not call himself stupid or an idiot anymore cause I don't think a stupid person would accept, understand and apologize for any mistake he has done. And! Without speaking for anyone else..I love how honest and open you are Jae . Not just now but in the past too. Wouldn't be here supporting you in your journey as a person first without that reason and ofcourse the incredible music you make. So be proud and stand by your morals❤ Also 'when the rain stopped following me' ep is the best one yet !

Exactly my view, too. It’s childish to hold onto a mistake from the past when he’s strived so far to grow and become a better person. He’s truly an inspiration and I’ll always love and support him 💕🙏🏼

The interviewer is so good, seems genuinely interested and made jae so comfortable while having such a deep conversation. Jae, I totally get you about having that phase in life where you didn’t even know you were changing, genuinely it only hits you when it’s over, I’m just so glad you’re in a headspace to understand that. Kak Iyas thank you so much for this emotional and insightful interview with eaJ and for truly truly giving him the platform and spotlight to totally be open and honest to talk about his feelings and history. It's my first time discovering this channel and I really really appreciate that there are no unnecessary jokes, no questions that are cornering him to a certain light, no offensive small talks, and really just being a good interviewer and a good listener. The convo even felt like you're just lending an ear to catch up with an old friend, so I feel like eaJ himself doesn't need to wear the mask of formality as a "public figure" and he can just be a normal person and be raw about his honest emotions. I can feel the sincerity and genuine respect both of you have for each other and how much you both enjoyed being together in this room. To be honest I first came to know Jae from Day6, but I didn't really know a lot about him before (and unfortunately didn't get the time to get to know him more, before the announcement that he's leaving the band). I've watched a few clips here and there about him and I've always liked how he always feels very expressive and bright, Jae used to look very bright and he brought me a lot of joy even before getting to know him more. But somehow from this interview, I fell in love even more with eaJ, his personality, and the way he thinks over and over again. 50 minutes of content and not even one second wasted, it really gives the audience a good idea of the stages of processing and healing. This interview really opened up a new, broader, and brighter perspective on eaJ for me and how much I will now look forward to his future works. Thank you both Kak Iyas and eaJ, good luck on your future projects and may you both always have a place you can call 'home' to rest and unwind 🤍

Such a talented artist, too talented to be confined and shackled by idol world. Seeing eaJ so raw and genuine in this interview, letting himself to be vulnerable in front of the fans is actually very refreshing, it makes him so relatable. I am praying and hoping for his happiness, peace, and health. Success to follow, good friends to accompany and catch him when he is about to fall.

I'll say this once again , I hope Eaj realizes that some people always love him for who he is . Every body makes mistakes but that doesn't and will never define your worth , and the fact that he recognizes it was a mistake and he apologizes that makes him a better person already. As an artist, his discography is the best for sure. I love him and his music.

Jae jawab: it feels nice, its kinda makes me feel better about myself🫶🏻 Ternyata kita saling menyembuhkan luka ya Jae. Jae apapun yang kamu rasakan itu valid. Terima kasih sudah mengakui dan jujur atas perasaanmu. Sehat dan bahagia selalu ya Jae 🫶🏻

this is a talk that is very bermakna indeed. this is my first time watching or even seeing this channel and i absolutely did not expect such good interview bcs as an indonesian myself, i get that the language barrier and different culture will make it hard to interview an international artist, like eaj. in past interviews they often just go one way, like the interviewer could not get the essence of the artists' story and the artist gets confused of the locals context. i am very thankful that you did ur research very well and thus makes the conversation flow like a wind. this was very pleasant and comfortable to watch. thank you for having jae on the show!

Thankyou for having Jae. Im so grateful he not giving up with his career music, i've been follow his journey since his debut in 2015 with day6 until now he being soloist. I always like him who is always honest with what he feels, and he is not shy to express what he feels. To be honest I also grew up with him and day6 since I was in my 20s, and i think it was so much fun, being able to grow together and see him grow so far until today. And honestly i always respect his decision to leave day6. whatever path he chooses is the best path for him and for day6 too. I always cheer on both of them no matter what, since i grew up wit them tho. As a fans i really thankyou for you jae because you not giving up with music, thank you for making good music, thank you for being one of my reasons to stay alive because you saved me when i was suicidal in 2018 (which is when he in day6). And now im really greatful now he is loved by many people and he deserved it😭

Lets be honest. Kpop companies dont really care about growth and talent when they pick their idols. We have seen it through many idol making shows. They care about looks and a personality that captures the audience. Then dancing and then singing. Those with talent are always restricted and not allowed to grow. Jae wanted to contribute more than just singing, he wanted to produce and explore his music colors. JYP has a hold on the music the company releases. Jaes wings were being cut and i believe it was a right choice to leave.

Thank you for having eaJ on your podcast! I loved every minute of this episode. When I know someone is in pain because of rumors that aren't true and because of the state of the entertainment industry, it makes me almost wish I could make that pain disappear for them. But, as an adult who has also experienced bullying, I know we have to go through the anger and everything else to grow and be stronger, better versions of ourselves. I am very glad this episode aired and gave eaJ a chance to talk genuinely. I support you every step of the way, Jae. You're doing great!
