Just came from a DND bit. This has Artificer written all over. I will call this Clip Artificers Gone Wild, or Mighty Morphed Artificer. Honestly, I do not even know what kind of show this is even supposed to be anymore. Maybe the best kind of Isekai for me, just throwing a lot of everything I like at me in my face whenever I see it. This definitely went from historical drama to 80s style japanese action hero. I love how this series has the theme of early Japanese pop culture. Also Hibiki was just as annoying in this episode as she was in the web novel. Also the anime cut the part where she asked for a time travel power because she did ask for that too in the web novel. I guess the producer thought it was enough to ask for one OP power. But a world domination power sounds like something for a super villain instead of a hero.

@@Compucles I have no problem with the show, but when the new shows drop, this isn't in my first ten to watch. I watch about 30 anime right now and even the best parts of S2 is a really slow burn. This is likely because Kaiju 8 is my number 1 to watch then Go! Go! Loser Rangers is my number 2. Fable is 3. New Gate is 4. I think Astro Note is 5. Then there's the Train to the End of the World. That one always has surprises.
