When she did the Argentine Tango with Val it was about the power and dramatics of the dance. With Maks it's about the flow and sensuality of the dance. Both were very good. I just love the performance of she and Maks more.

This is excellent. Music, performance etc.really takes you to a high class club in Buenos airies. Having said that just a few small items - would have liked to see more closeness and intimacy, as well as expressions..plus a bit more of male lead. She was doing all the work. Nevertheless, overall it was fantastic.

I thought that dance was very fast and acrobatic. I like the tango slower, intense and dramatic. But, it's beautiful still...

The Argentine tango on shows like this is such a far cry from the real thing. As are many of the latin dances, like the salsa even. Go to a milonga in any city, or a salsa dance night, and it doesn't look like what you see on DWTS.

Yes, this pair won. (Maksim Chmerkovskiy is the pro dancer (his family immigrated legally to the USA from Ukraine when he was a pre-teen boy),. Meryl Davis and her partner Charlie White (who was also a contestant this season and did very well) are an Olympic Ice Dancing pair who had won a medal at three Olympics (bronze, silver, and finally gold).

K tiffy ice dancing is different from ballroom dancing. Their rules are that a contestant may be anyone who doesn’t have any professional ballroom experience. Timing is much easier for her than others but technique is completely different vs that on ice
