Geoff Toovey is my all time favourite Sea Eagle player. When he actually coached Manly side at one point, it allowed me to put aside by bitterness towards Sea Eagles because of failed merger between Bears. I actually thought it was during his era of coaching that allowed me a Bears supporter to move on and forgive Sea Eagles for that period.

David "the mule" Hosking,he was a prop forward playing for manly under Graham lowe in the early 1990's. He broke his hand in a match,told the trainer to strap it up & he went back out & finished playing the game.
