It suddenly came on my home page. I am so proud of her .... she was my inspiration. How glamorous woman she is! It makes me amazed how multitalented she is. She was the dance teacher in my school . Also she used to teach bengali. She is such a sweet and humble person with 0 attitude. Its so good to see her performance.

I wonder what compels (is it the mind-set?) one to introduce the artiste and her performance in a language that is not spoken by the majority of WB people, except a section of the society and elite having western education, influence, mind-set and love for the language . Since the venue was in Kolkata, and the item performed is a pure Indian classical dance including background music, dress and vocal support, etc., I thought it is more appropriate to speak in the local language for consumption of a larger audience.
