The Shien ... Rodgers interview was phenomenal. You could tell that Aaron has ninja stuff planned for Corley. He's a different type of WR. Not a slot but a new type of over the middle hybrid! A new exploration into YAC. There is still lots of untapped potential out on that field. Like searching for gold. Aaron's into that. That’s why they call it a copycat league.

No. Corley is a slow RB pretending to be a Wr while catching most of his passes (that he didn't drop) within the 5 yard line. Corley is fools gold

Look of this talk about how Corley and Gibson play similar positions has to stop. Gibson relies on speed and sone shiftiness. Corley is more of a physical running back with good hands.

Rodgers really likes him because a new age Randall Cobb. He'll make those tough catches in the middle. He'll take those dink and dunk passes from Rodgers. He'll fight for the extra yards. He's exactly the kind of player Rodgers loves. I bet he liked the top 3 equally as much. But he at least got one of the guys he was looking forward too. Now we still need to see it on the field.

This is just hype. Dude, Rodgers would have preferred Marv Harrison. We have to allow a LOT of time for Corley to develop his route tree to be more than a screen guy in the Rodgers-Hackett offense. It’s a big deal that AR is serious about building a connection with him. I evaluate Malachi as a project WR. He does have a high ceiling which isn’t a lock to reach. He can be Deebo, so if the QB1/OC of this team loves the kid that’s really really good news. We have a qb the can show the kid how to reach his ceiling. But we will need to see tangible results in games before we talk about our project WR reaching his Deebo-esque ceiling.

C'mon. Corley literally has zero shot of getting 700-800 yards as rookie in a Hackett led offense. The creative opportunity just isn't gonna be there. No matter how much people want to keep glossing over the handicap that is Nathaniel Hackett with nobody to hold his hand...it's there, and needs to be rationally acknowledged regardless of it's impact on the positive spin narratives.
@erandle247
@erandle247 4 ай бұрын
The overall rational is that Hackett has only been worth a damn when Rodgers was a part of the equation. So while in theory you are on to sumthn....the actual decisions on where the ball goes will be made by a proven decision maker. 700 yards is only around 45 yards per game. Totally doable! As a rookie...under Hackett...with Wilson as the QB...Garrett gain 1000yrds!? With Wilson and Williams gettn the most attention....why couldn't Corley get 700yrds with Rodgers?

@yoholmes273
@yoholmes273 4 ай бұрын
@@HappyEddyMcGuire 4.56 is slow 🐌 for a NFL WR. Second, I appreciate your heart comment. I do like Corley the man...just not the NFL prospect. Corley has come from small town nowhere and willed his way to the NFL. I respect him and all that he was able to accomplish. While I appreciate the work ethic and the high character, I just do not see him as a legitimate "trade up for" NFL wide receiver. He is slow and had the dropsies. The majority of his passes were caught behind the 5 yard line making him a pure gimmick scheme guy. My opinion, you don't trade up for a gimmick guy. And with Hackett at OC you know Corley won't be schemed properly anyway. Again, I like and respect the man, just not the prospect as a traded up for 3rd rounder. Truly, I HOPE I am proven completely wrong. I really do. If anyone could , Corley could.

I don’t like players talking like they are general managers. I only hope Rodgers said this to hyoe up his teammate or if he really felt that way that it’s just a coincidence that the jets drafted him. Otherwise it means Rodgers has input in the front office and that is too much dysfunction.
