For everyone who is confused about who wrote this song here’s an explanation: The video description is wrong. Rick Springfield DID NOT WRITE THIS SONG. David Curry , Emma Currys husband, wrote this I Get Excited. But on the album Amazing Love Rick Springfield wrote another song which was also called I Get Excited. Even though Emma Curry was still in the choir the solo for that song was given to fellow choir member and longtime friend of Emma Curry, Lillian Lilly
