Well done. I enjoyed watching! I spent the video reviewing the rules as you went to clarify the rules for myself. I look forward to more videos!

At around the 21:00 mark when she cast the spell, a magic peg should have been added to the dread board

I did go back and add it, as I also noticed but not right away. Thx

Really good playthrough. Just a note that melee attacks can only be done orthogonally, there were several instances of melee attacks being done diagonally.

Looking forward to this, as not started mone yet so will be good to watch before i do. i did watch the first 10 mins. finding the music is a bit too loud in parts

Ok, Thank you for feedback. I'll look to bring it down a little more in future videos, But I do like it for setting the tone and atmosphere.

@twohandedboardgaming I agree with you 100%. it does fit with the theme, just a bit too loud 😉

I am about to play my first game. But one thing I think you are missing is the "First Player" token. You are supposed to place the first player token on one adventurer at the beginning. Then it moves to the next adventurer on the next turn. That adventurer goes first on turn one. Since you are playing it solo it doesn't effect which adventurer goes first every turn BUT it does matter which one has the token on any given turn. When monsters have two options of who to attack they will always attack the player with the "first player" token if able. Also event cards that say to play something on the first player it must go on the adventurer who currently has the first player token. So you can't cherry pick which adventurer gets attacked or gets the effect from the event card.

Another good carch! Thank you for all the great call-outs. It will certainly get me better prepared for my next game.

@@twohandedboardgaming When you are playing solo it really isn't that important but if you play multiplayer/non co-op it is. It allows players to switch up who goes first each turn. To be honest I kept laughing when you forgot to switch the camera views. But obviously I enjoyed the playthrough very much. Hope to see more!
@markwilliamson30438 күн бұрын
yeah, I read in the rules if playing solo youncan decide who goes first whenever you want. doesn't really matter

Syrio won't make full contact with an enemy. He will stop one space short. He only attacks making a melee attack when base to base with an enemy. He will prioritize looting. So he shouldn't have made a range attack. He would've looted the crate. It's all on the card you read for him.

You're absolutely correct and I completely missed that. Great call out!

Fabulous video David very difficult to do.one thing I was curious about is the sling weapon I don't think it needs ammunition. I think u must just pick it up off the floor lol

Hmm, now I need to go back and look at it. You may be on to something.

So I asked Collin from Battle Systems on one of his tutorial videos if you put the un-looted tokens from the chests/crates etc. back into their original bags or into the main token bag. He said only the tokens that the scenario instructs you to put in the main token bag at the start of the scenario stay in there between scenarios during a campaign but the un-looted tokens go back in their respective bags. Well what about the ones you looted and then dropped on the ground? Where do those tokens go? What do you think?
@twohandedboardgaming10 күн бұрын
I would say based on Collin's reply that they would go back into the original bags, even though you opened a chest or crate up. You technically didn't loot it, if it doesn't leave with you. But to be honest you could probably play it either way. Certainly situational. But maybe something a future FAQ could elaborate on.

The "Map" you found is actually a "Hidden Location" token (page 74-75) that you must resolve immediately. Remember for next time.

I thought the only phase you skip at the beginning of the game is the event phase. would still put a black peg in the dread tracker. I could be wrong though...
