Personally feel like this current MJF & Adam Cole feud was one of the rare times where a story needed to be dropped and moved on from. Not saying they couldn't return to it in the future but the messiness of the story is so bad that it requires so much jumping through hoops that it makes 2 of the hottest stars in the company so cold. Not helped by how soon they've both only recently returned.

Theres probably ways of making it work with a double turn but I don't think the way they're trying is working. They're trying to make it seem like MJF got what he deserved, and Adam Cole is framing it as " if I didn't do it he would have turned on me" but I dunno, I was really into the story going into all in, and during that story Max's friendship and how much he cared for cole seemed really genuine, and his actions throughout the story supported that. I think the way they're going forward with it is expecting the audience to forgot all that, but people aren't forgetting and it's making it hard for people to relate with what cole is saying and causing people to turn on him a bit.

Black is a world title guy in any company and both big ones have blundered the wrestler with THE MOST presence as a character. Murphy is Omega 2 and should just be wrestling as many times as possible on tv. King is arguably ine if the best big men and the fact he hasn't had a run at the top of the card baffles me

I dunno about Tempests problem with Hanger. He killed Swerve. It didn't work. He didn't feel any better. Why would he still fixate on him? Would killing him again make him feel better? Hangman is smart enough not to just repeat himself and expect a different result. So he's moved on and is trying to get revenge not just on one man but now anyone who has ever wronged him. I think the implication is that Swerve was never the problem. Adam Page's problem was Adam Page. Which is THE MOST Hangman storyline. He's on the road to realizing that, one body at a time. When all his enemies have been defeated and he still feels like this? Then he can look at himself. Maybe then can he face Swerve, not out of hatred but as a healed man. Only then can he defeat Swerve for real and get any catharsis.

He didn't kill swerve, though. The guys are fine and on TV. If anything, Swerve is currently in a feud that has the kafaybe potential of giving swerve a superpowered group, and considering hangman's "you can't beat me one on one, you need others" feels like a perfect time to get involved. Why not partner with the hurt Syndicate himself? The show is at its best when things are connected across the show, not when people disappear into their own universes.

I thought the whole reason Roderick was involved in this storyline was so he could be a filler match at full gear so that they could do MJF vs cole at Worlds end (the ppv where they did the turn). I've given this storyline so much benefit of the doubt, but even for me it's getting kinda dumb

I'm happy if Malakai is leaving for WWE, seems like he hasn't been happy in AEW. He says he's not, albeit he was protesting a lot more that he wasn't injured or retiring. If he is leaving, I guess you lie so the fans don't turn on you. If you aren't leaving, what was that finish and what was the post-match angle for?

I feel like Cole should've come back as a heel who thinks hes a face. He was "right" about MJF but have him be obnoxious about it. MJF can just let that genuine side of him leak out and play the face. Then you could eventually have a double turn when Cole ultimately regrets his actions and MJF continues to close himself off.

Never saw Adam Cole in NXT or the indies. Seems like a nice guy, but he has been consistently involved in my least favourite stuff in AEW since he arrived. I don't think I'm the only one either. There's a not insignificant part of the audience that doesn't enjoy the nerdy HHH NXT vibe. AEW is at it's best when it feels like the less polished and theatrical option.

Calling it now, we get mjf Vs Roddy Vs Cole and wardlow enters the ring near the end of the match and looks like he's gonna attack max but turns round and attacks Cole and Roddy while cole does his usual "wtf/no way" face

I feel the total reverse of Undisputed Kingdom and MJF is just jarring. So much time was put into Roddy being this annoying, screaming barnacle. Feels obvious the Kingdom will turn on Cole. More importantly, totally agree re: House of Black, why hasn’t there been a run of them as tag title/mid card champ at least. Just feels like they’re a faction that’s forever on cool down.

I believe that Adam Cole was trying to tell Tony to push Malakai in his own way and it looks awkward from a perspective. I also think that the kingdom is turning on Cole.

Just another case of Tony trying to force something in that doesn't belong. This fued should've happened a year ago. But injuries happen. They dragged out the devil storyline because they thought it could last until Cole came back. Turns out he was out for over a year. So that just faded away. This story could work but they need to go about it different. Malakai black losing clean to Cole ain't it. That man should've already had acouple Aew championships. Instead he hasn't even come close.

Malakai put a video out saying none of it was true and if anything happens, you would hear it from him. Don’t know what his issue is with actual reporting (I.e. SRS) wish he would get over it
