For Malala's quality of life and her family's, all the credit goes to generosity of the liberals of the West. All of us in Pakistan are grateful to you guys for saving her life and continuing the support.

I would not say all in Pakistan are grateful. There are still some who would like to do what the Taliban failed to do in 2012. Some of the credit must go to the Pakistani doctors and surgeons who carried out the life-saving operations when she most needed them. Many of us in the UK look upon the family and especially Malala as one of us now. We are pleased that they call Birmingham, England home, as well as Pakistan. As far as I am concerned they can stay as long as they like and would be welcomed back when/if they leave.
