I appreciate the time you take to put out content for us especially during this time while we are all self quarantine. Thanks Mike!

I love the respect you have for these athletes’ technique. So many instructors focus on brut strength and forget the finesse element.

Mike , should you be provided the opportunity. Please review some additional LPGA players. Putting, bunker play, course management .As a 21 year volunteer veteran of the Shoprite here in NJ . I watched the best of the best. My thoughts are these players are experts in efficiency. In 2015 , after attending your workshop during the PGA Merchindise show . I embraced the concept of DONT just play it. Understand it . At age 65 , I am now teaching the game , confidently . That’s not to say each shots perfect, but I have learned enough to shape things up. I don’t charge for my lessons, Should a player enjoy the experience. I provide information about contributions to our Non Profit support group Friends of Firefighters here in BKLYN NY. Thanks you for leading the way . I will be continuing my Web site membership and hope to be back in Orlando next year 2021 . Until then all the best Stay Safe.

I really admire you Mike. And that is why you are my favorite golf instructor. You are the only one golf instructor on You Tube that comes up always with logical and educational content that makes sense for us to understand. Thank you

Dogan Keskinkilic Well said. But The way also look at it is that if the King’s son takes lessons from him, I trust him.

I recently began implementing a simple 3 part pre-shot routine. Immediately after the 5 second routine, I step up, rehearse a short takeaway, return to address and immediately begin the full swing. I DO NOT dwell over the ball thinking about what shot mechanics I want to apply/avoid. This process seemingly moves the action of the swing from my analytical brain to my more intuitive side. It is a variation of the think box/play box approach developed by Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott. This pre-shot routine quiets the thinking process and allows the shot to simply happen in a more organic way. As with everything in golf, your mileage may vary!

The uneven lie thing makes a lot of sense. Can’t tell ya how many times I know I made a good swing and the ball goes in 8 different directions all at once. Gonna start working on those adjustments

They all clear their hips so fast and powerfully. And they maintain their spine angle way after contact.

Watching these LPGA pros, they make the swing look effortless and yet hit with so much power. Your reference to uneven lies was important and made me realize I don’t really know the “adjustments” I’m supposed to make but intuitively I know I should make them. There aren’t necessarily practice areas for such at most courses. I’ll be searching this topic.

I’ve been trying and taking in all the tips. The pivot I finally got it, thanks to the exaggeration of the swings... but I’m a little too shallow at times and I top it. But when I hit it is effortless and it goes far and high. I shoot in low 80s (80-84) and I want to break 80. Anything that can help.

Hey Mike, been watching your videos for a while. Really like your approach. I'm totally left handed, but play golf right handed...don't ask. I'm an ok golfer...mid to low 80's. I tend to hit everything low... any tips?

Me too Dave. Left handed, but play golf right handed. Not sure why, but think it’s because as a very young boy my right handed father put the bat in my hands right handed. Interestingly my mother, sister, two brothers and me are all left handed. I also hit the ball low even after lessons with two different instructors. And after damaging my left arm pitching baseball and now getting pretty old I no longer can develop any clubhead speed. I’ll try Mike’s suggestion and hope for some ALTITUDE.

@@baklash6079 Hi Mike, I do everything lefty including bat a ball. The only reason I golf right is because when I first started, right handed were the only clubs I could borrow. In hockey I was a goal tender so I had sort of a right hand shot when handling the puck. If I try and swing a left handed club now, it feels really weird.

IMO high handicappers and senior golfers like me would be better off watching the women because although most of them are fine athletes, they're getting maximum results with rhythm, timing and tempo simply because they aren't carrying the muscle mass of a 6-3 195 lb guy. Sure, it's nice to be strong enough to hack a ball out of 6" rough but golf isn't a muscle game. Good idea by Mike to show this.
