I just don't understand why only this number of views. This channel has completely changed my golf. Now I feel that it's effortless and fun. I think that it has been kind of secret what Mike tells ( I don't know why). None of my teaching pros has been able to tell me this before. I know that there are many ways to 'hit' a ball but this is a simple method.

Malaska is the best teacher 👏👍⭐ Practice half swings Malaska move slowly at 0.25x speed. Once you got it, you feel the hands down close to the body in a circle movement and the club head out👍. This is the key👉Hands down and club head out. You're gonna hit Pw 140yds solid contact effortlessly. It took me couple of months to finally understand the complete movement. So happy for that! Now I'm playing golf!!!! (I was hitting wrong, pulling my hands forward n catching it up all my life)

Joe's Rotor has been the basis of my teaching for a long time. Mike has brought Joe's ideas out in a way that golfers can grasp. Joe told me that the idea for the rotor came from watching Hogan hit the ball from above his feet and the move highlighted the leveling that the Rotor exercise promotes. BTW Mike's illuminating comments about the eye line are ahead of the instructors. This is a secret to performing at the highest level of one's ability.

Wonderful explanation of how centrifugal force dictates, all. The basket is a great way to demonstrate this point. Thank you for this beautiful lesson, Mike. The less arms and hands play during your golf swing, the more power and consistency in ball strike.

I watch the first hip rotation Malaska video with Margarita last night before playing this morning and all I can say is...Awesome! Mike, your video instructions are very easy to understand at least for me. Needless to say, I played very comfortable today by thinking pendulum in every stroke and it works. Now I've gotta find your video about putting :-). Thank you very for a great video instruction, Mike and Margarita!

Mike - your points on backswing to club impact have been revolutionary for me. Thank you for distilling the basic foundation of what backswing to impact means in such an intuitive way. All the typical concepts on shallowing, lag, and other points create confusion IMO. Your consistent message on the basic path, feeling and more importantly “why” is perfect. The rest of it are advanced topics for me once I got the basic feeling and understanding of what I’m trying to do with my swing

Thank you my man.......my whole game is becoming almost effortless and I'm ready to be a single digit again !!!!

Mike, I have been trying to swing in-to-out for years. I have a launch monitor so whatever I think I am doing the monitor always tells me whether I am or not. Two things in this video sequence will, I think, help me a lot: One is the bit about the eye line, that's a fantastic tip. I can't wait to get out and try it. The other is the whole idea, at the commencement of the down swing, of moving the club down in the space created by turning the hips back before starting to turn the lower body. I hope I've got that right. Anyway, this video is chock full of good stuff. I've watched it three times already. Great work Mike.

I watched a few of these videos with this over the top move, it looked very awkward, but i figured it had to be worth a try, I can strike the ball reasonably well but had difficulty with getting consistent direction, sometimes I would be right of target other times left. So, I tried this today for the first time, it worked remarkably well, I hit some very accurate shots indeed, and good distance too (about the same as before, which for a new "move" is good) it was a revelation though to see how much it improved the accuracy, plus it wasn't half as awkward to do as you might think. Really good instruction here that works very well. Thanks Mike!

Mike, you are the best ! No doubt ! You helped me love Golf again and Thank You! As a minor side note; "on takeaway" at the 14 min mark, instead of "some players feel the left 'Lat' engage " they will in fact be feeling the left 'Sub Scap' engage (one of the all important rotator cuff muscles ) as that is it's action. The 'Lat' has a different action. Not important in the grand scheme of things but I know you love anatomy/physiology and the mechanics of the swing!

Looks like the swing is basically an up (backswing) and down ( downswing) motion of the arms. Also looks like club speed comes from how fast you throw your arms down to the address position (now impact position). Correct?? Seems simple enough!

How do the pros hit it so far? Even the LPGA have good distance. Can you do a mini-segment outlining the key elements in the swing to achieve maximum distance? What are they doing right that lesser players don't?
@joesmith389

Clubhead speed, de-lofted clubface at impact, and path. That's it. Most anyone can whip the clubhead of a driver over 100 mph, but they can't when hitting a ball. And even if they can, its likely not going to be at the right loft (de-lofted) at impact or the correct path. The pros have perfected each of those three. Try swinging a driver back and forth, whipping the clubhead until you hear the wooshing noise get louder and louder. It's now well over 100 mph. Time that whipping noise to go woosh AFTER the impact area. Get good at these three areas, and you'll be hitting it pretty darn far. Little Rory Mcilroy has a swing speed averaging approx 120 mph... and he's only 5'9" and 160 lbs.

Ok I get this, and have taught it actually, but with a golf club it's always seemed to me that the weight of the club alone isn't sufficient to produce that response from the body. Is very relaxed arms the key to this with a club? If the arms are not relaxed, it seems that producing that body response without very relaxed arms is more difficult?

The problem with taking the hands back first, is that there is a strong tendency for mid to high handicap players to swing with their arms and not activated their turn. Jason Day likes to turn the buttons of his shirt and others like to tighten their R scapula muscle, moving the club as a one piece take away.

*Over the top과 백스윙을 짧게하는 훈련법 : over the top의 원인은 백스윙을 top까지 높이 올리는 것이다. 그런 후 right hips이 가고 ..
