In January 2017, the Global Partnership for Education, Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation and Global Citizen visited Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. The Clara Lionel Foundation has partnered with the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen to advocate for strong education systems that ensure the world's poorest kids can get a quality education.

Wow. It makes me think of how I'm sure many of us took advantage of our education system and felt like school was a chore that we HAD to go to. I never realised how fortunate we really are; while these kids have so little access to education and still make the most of it. In the UK we have free education and healthcare that we abuse, whilst there are children and families like these that are desperately in need. These kids would give anything to have what we have, and still look at how optimistic they are. Thank you for sharing this Rihanna, it has really opened my eyes. I hope we all can do what we can to help these kids, and all those in need.

First of all before I say what is bordering me, I have to commend Rihanna for what she is doing. Devouting her time, energy and part of her resources in service to to the needy. Now to what I want to say, I don't know if anyone else feels the same. I have come in contact with so many of these help organisations trying to do one good work or the other for the needy continents especially Africa. In various areas of lack like drinking water, good, medcare, and education. Once again I commend them. Then I can to study their modus operands, I then come to the conclusion that all these are or were only going to be temporarily relieve to them.. (I stand to be corrected ) Then I said If only there would be a permant or even semi-permanent solution to African Problem. I callled it a temporary solution because for example one day I was approached by one the volunteers of one the give 2 or three pounds for Africa orgnazation. According to the man, he ask me to give about 5 Euro or less monthly to support food and water provision in Africa. I was like that's great but what about finding a permanent solution to these lack of food and water in Africa. And man was like how do you mean. I simply explain to him their future is in the hand of the 2 euro givers, if they stop giving they will go back to former their status. most countries in Africa were not born poor but were exploited by the same people that some of their good citizens were now trying to save them. And presently African leaders would use embezzled funds (which could be enough to sustain their nations to acquire properties.) abroad(paying upfront) without any prove of income, other will put millions in foreign banks in their private account. What about the policies that were meant to keep these African nations in perpetual debt. who is going to form a humanitarian organisation that will see to all these. Africa were not pron to natural disasters rather they where blessed with natural resources, yet they were always placed on emergency list by the same people who have directly or indirectly exploited then. There by making the poor mass not knowing where exactly their problem is coming from as to finding a solution to it. who is going to round an organisation that will stop Africa leaders to travel aboard sick medical attention for common headache. I think it's a crime to misappropriate public funds and criminal were not allowed to travel.. if their is such orgnisation that would snoop and send back to Africa the money their leaders hide in banks abroad, may be they will be able to provide medcare, water and food to their citizens. like I told the man without social supports People here will experience more hunger than the one we see in Africa.

First & Foremost I thank Rihanna a lot upon being a mirror of other celebrities, you always found time however much buzy you are, you invested your time and money to fulfil your heart demands and promises of engaging in charitable activities like this & so forth, I was once like this pupils, people are commenting about here! having went through the same experience like this in western Uganda, I can say; it was one of my motivational factors that gave me courage to keep struggling until I finished my primary rather than dropping out of school early as many did because of the unfavourable conditions including long distance walk over 10 kms from home to get where the only near school was! I'm living in Zambia and SA and I can totally feel the pain most of kids have been going through here. Every time I am in the bush and kids come to me and wave, my heart is melting. And when some friends ask me to sing, Stand Up for Love (2005 World Children'’s Day Anthem) by Destiny's Child is always my option. Not a good vocalist. I wish someday when I graduate, I can be of assistance to such kids. Africa, stay strong.
