Malaysia Autoshow 2024

Here's a quick walk-around video of the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. There were many China brands but the highlights of the show for me are BMW 5-Ssries and new MINI Cooper. Perodua emo-1 EV concept is quite a disappointment for me as it's only an electrified Mivy and not a productionised version of the emo Concept shown in Malaysia Autoshow 2023. But still, Perodua's expertise and input in this electric Myvi is highly respectable. Also, I find the Proton X50 R3 more impressive than the S70 R3.

In case you can't find or miss booths of BYD, Leapmotor and Citroen. BYD's booth is behind Smart and Porsche in Hall A2. While Leapmotor shares a booth with Citroen and they are behind Peugeot in Hall A1.

Disappointed with the available cars there. Some of the major brands are not there and at least half of them are EVs. Probably have more motorcycle brands than there are car brands

Hello, EVs are the future, my non friend. Last year the Shanghai Motor Show shock the world. Shock all the Mat Salleh, US Gweilo, Kimchi Man and Nippon Man. They were so surprised that China eVs are so much advanced than theirs in such a short time. Their reaction was at first fear and then anger. This is because they know their hugh car market in China will diminish soon and China's EV sales will probably dominate the world. The US soon threaten China by sending Janet Yellen and then Blinken by saying the LAN CHIAU OVERCAPACITY ACCUSATION RUBBISH. China said TIU LEI. China sells more because its EVS are of good quality and are reasonably price. NO overpriced Mat Salleh BS. ..........NO lah, my non friend , no SOHAI will put motorcycle in a car show. Mostly Chinese EVS and the usual legacy cars.

For me I was only pleased with the underground garage but still quite disappointed for the lack of retro jdm cars. Like I only saw 1 supra (new gen), 1 skyline, 3 Silvia s15s, 1 rx-7, 2 lancer/evo

Adults will need to purchase a RM20 ticket for entry. Children aged 9 and below, and seniors above 60 years old can enter for free. Parking rate applies. autoshow.my/

Event start today till Sunday 26th May. This morning visiting the autoshow and here is my pov and questions, is this really an autoshow that all vendor there just putting up booth to let visitor have a view of it?, do not really want to sell their product? Today is the first day and show started at 10am as we enter the venue around 10.10am only can see most of the hired model was there sitting or leaning at vehicles(like waiting for visitors to take pictures or the showcase product)....while most of the rep just sitting and see...is there any training for the rep to try serve at least?...(well if this was the last day of the event is understanding..). Bros and sis no offen, visitor go to autoshow have half hearted to see whether they can afford or can have brand new toys, so live it up and show some salesmanship in you👍💪(of course if you already loaded and that is purely to show off then is ok)😂cheers all give it a best shots as weekend is coming!!🎉💪👍

OOOI, Is this your first time attending motor show? Nobody sells at motor show. my non friend. This shows are to showcase their cars and let the public view the cars to create buzzwords, for the press release, car write up and so on. You sound like a first time Ah Beng attending a pasar malam of cars.
