The main Malls usually , PAvilion KL, Suria KLCC mall, now with TRX Exchange, Mid VAlley, One Utama, follow by Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion Damansara, Bangsar Shopping Centre for Festive decorations like Christmas , Hari Raya, Chinese. Bro you forgot the largest mall in Malaysia which is ioi city mall. Besides there are another malls like pavilion bukit jalil, sunway velocity and mytown.

Suggest both take the LRT to One Utama mall. It's far bigger & better. It's a little further up from Pavilion Damansara.

We actually stay just near 1utama usually but we couldn't make it there unfortunately! Their decorations look amazing 🤩

Christmas time in Malaysia and Singapore is more real than Europe, don't you think? I think it's still very British. And I always love it so much.

It definitely is more ott with the malls! In Britain we do have nice decorations, but I feel like Malaysia competes with us very closely despite being a islamic country! It's impressive really 👏

@DisappearforDays Well... the English and Portuguese were in the region since 1500s, 1600s, 1700s, 1800s and until 1970s. That means 370 years? More so than anywhere else. Christmas time back then was to remember the family, homeland, and ancestors. So, it did have a special meaning for the settlement families. Great Britain was a chosen location for our angels and saints to return earth during the Christmas season - winter solstice - the most beautiful time of the year.

Thank you! We loved wandering around 😊 unfortunately we didn't go to KLCC as we had researched but it didn't seem they had them up at the time we went. Also as we had found about the opening event for pavilion we didn't want to miss it, so stuck around Bukit Bintang instead 😊 we wish we had been able to see them though along side TRX, Mid Valley and a couple others! 😭

KLCC Suria has a nice Christmas deco too this year. I agree that the Dior Christmas deco at Pavilion was a little lacking compared to previous years. I think TRX had their main Christmas deco done outdoors. Complete with a small Christmas market it seems.

Good timing to visit The Pavilion when they're opening the Christmas Festive Season Decorations! Thank You Guys for sharing! We found the Midvalley's Christmas Festive Season Decoration with their ethereal silvery theme quite magical this year together with The Pavilion Christian Dior theme Christmas Festive Season Decorations! What happen to TRX Christmas main hall decoration?! Just around 10 days to go before Christmas & they have not decorate it yet?! It was perfect timing to visit! We saw mid valleys decorations on their Instagram but at the time we went, they hadn't been finished yet. We went at the end of November to see them which is why TRX, Midvalley and KLCC wasn't included. It was a real shame, but hopefully next year the timings will be in our favour more! Unfortunately we won't be in Malaysia for CNY, we're so gutted to not be able to spend it with Jacobs family, but Emma is a Snake so it would have made it even more special! 😓

These big boys shopping mall, especially pavilion, suria klcc and.. TRX? always competing each other in every festive season. Eidul fitri, chinese new year, deepavali and chrismas. It's normal for us. We're not celebrating other religion festive of course, but we enjoy the holiday that coming with it. 😄

All things aside, what exactly does Christmas mean to you, since you mentioned the Christmas spirit?

Christmas means a lot of things to different people. Whether it be Christian or not. The Christmas spirit is about being kind, loving, caring and giving at this time of year, regardless of religion. I (Jacob) am a Christian however, so for me it is also remembering the birth of Christ and everything else. I guess if you asked 100 people in the UK, you would get varying answers depending on upbringing etc, but that's what it means for us more so. Hope this clears it up for you and have a wonderful time during the festivities 😊

We have SO many favourite Christmas movies! Where to start?! Emma loves the Nativity movies, but I love some other classics like Elf, the Grinch, and Home Alone. We have watched so many Christmas movies recently whilst getting into the spirit like Klaus (2019), The Holiday and Christmas with the Kranks to name a few lol. If you couldn't tell, we are passionate about them 😂 Which movies are your favourites? 😃

Hahaha we aren't surprised, there are a crazy amount of malls in Malaysia! 😂 We do love the Aircon after walking around though, so we aren't complaining.. window shopping for us also 😂
