Honestly, you're so polite. I noticed you only take videos of people and their food when you're going to buy some and I respect that. I love food but currently cannot travel, so thank you for the blog. :)

Tbh, and esp by the looks of that crab: I don’t think I could buy street food, soft- or hard-shelled seafood, that wasn’t kept on ice and prepared before my eyes. Dangerous game to play with your gastrointestinal tract!

There are videos of people in China opening sewer grates and skimming the oil off the top of the water and then using it at their food stands to cook food with/in🤢🤮 China has some of the weakest food regulations. Ever heard of “Pagpag”? It’s pretty gross too.

I love watching your street fair vids because there's no useless chatter and not too much panning camera shots. Try to not show the same process of the cooking too many times. I love that you show the prices and especially the US prices. I really appreciated the food quality remark you made about the pricey seafood dishes, but missed it during the first viewing. I only caught it when I went back to look for the price of the meals. Have you thought about rating each dish maybe with stars which would include price per value as well as taste? Have you thought about visiting other countries? Philipines? Hong kong? China? Japan? Korea? San Francisco!

@@bridgetteperkins6361 The taste of jackfruit is very sweet and the texture is chewy. In my opinion, there is no fruit that tastes similar to this jackfruit. But when you cook young jackfruit with curry, it tastes like chicken or mushroom.

I'm in the UK - greetings. Just found your channel by accident - wow excellent, I like the way you show it first, and then show what it is and the price, well done, most 'street food' channels don't and it can be frustrating. I've just had to 'Sub' to see more, - what was that small coloured sort of 'rubbery' triangle that you kept peeling back.? It's no good , I just just had to go and do bacon and eggs at 3AM GMT.

Christopher Lovelock hi,the rubbery thingy is a type of dessert called “kuih lapis”,made from rice flour, coconut milk etc. The layer have to be steam separately,it’s kinda fun dessert since you can eat it whole or eat it layer by layer. It’s very yummy, pls visit Malaysia one day and you will be spoilt for choice

@@missynoormusa7221 Thank-you for your very precise description about my un-known 'rubbery triangle'. I would love to visit Malaya, but alas I think it will only be in my dreams as I'm over 70 and disabled as well, on top of which my doctor has 'banned' me from flying due to my illness. So I get a lot of enjoyment watching as much as I can on YT.

Christopher Lovelock awwww I’m sorry to hear that and pray that your day is wonderful no matter what, sending lots of love from Malaysia . As for not knowing I admit I’m a noob too since it’s more towards traditional dishes, still popular tho. Although I kinda know how to make this but making it is quite tedious, steaming it layer per layer !hats off to them,so me going the easy way,buy it,heheehe,it’s cheap too. I think if in £ it’s only 10p per piece.Malaysian/Asians famous for fried foods. The temptations is crazy high every time I visited night market. I lose my mind there!

Alia Guerin -welcome to the club hehe, choices is cray cray and cheap! Here in this video the price is pretty steep since it’s film in Johor Bahru, known for its high living cost and its the gateway to Singapore. In my area,10 USD will stuff you till tomorrow, yum!
