3. I don't believe it was hard to break and enter into Zaharie's home and add or change a flight in the simulator. The US produced a report to say that 777s are hackable. The avionics bay is easily accessible, the hatch is just a flap in the floor, from which the lock to the flight deck and communications could be depowered. Russia and Ukraine are the only countries that have not provided a background check for those three passengers. The plane was deliberately flown not only on country borders but on the borders of Flight Information Regions, and the VORs are non-existent or not switched on overnight. The North route ends in a Russian playground, no need to involve the local military, and the Space network (Russian observatories) would have seen the plane (think anti-missile). The debris should have washed ashore in Australia, Antarctica as well as to the West, something fishy about that even without the Lepas Anatifera paradox. So after doing my own research, not just accepting whatever the media and Jeff says, I believe the plane landed in either Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan and Zaharie is innocent.

The biggest problem and should be changed immediately is why the pilot have the power to turn off transponder, it should be a worldwide regulation that commercial airliner should have their transponder hardwired to the aircraft without a switch, as long as the plane is running transponder is always on.
@justindot48872 ай бұрын
this is explained in many other doc youtube comments like green dot aviations video as primarrily with other reasoons in case of fire you must be able to turn off all systems regardless of function.
@billtracy87742 ай бұрын
Exactly. more tamper resistance is needed...but this and other tamper-resistance fixes is controversial political point. US aviation community has historically been highly adversarial about such changes. At this point EU needs to take lead as they have done on other matters such as 25-hr voice recorder which USA has still not implemented. That would help prevent MH370s too. To me the bigger point, this is why Malaysia is not the only group moving slowly on admitting MH370 was deliberate cockpit action, to the end most likely.
@stephenmapeka77742 ай бұрын
Many people are still stuck in this issue of switched-off transponders,when these systems are fitted in aircrafts they look at their benefits vs risks/disadvantages,in this case re-designing them by making them impossible for pilots to switch them off would be too much of a risk than leaving them to continue to function as we know how,besides there isnt a concrete reason they were switched off deliberately by a pilot in suicide mode.Its perplexing to hear people thinking an experienced pilot would not know switching off transponders wasnt gonna disable military radar,that by deleting flight simulator activity it would mean it couldn't be retrieved when he could have destroyed hard drive by burning/torching it etc.

My theory is the following: an unidentified armed man was able to somehow infiltrate into the plane, everyone was held hostage and the hijacker took everyone’s phones, when the plane reached flight level 3-5-0 the captain asked the copilot to bring him some coffee, so when the copilot exited the cockpit the hijacker helds him hostage too and asks him about the code to access the cockpit, once inside the cockpit the hijacker hold the captain hostage until the plane exits the Malaysian airspace, then the hijacker ordered the captain to switch off the transponder and then kills him, during the time that the plane was flying in malacca’s strait someone (probably the copilot) managed to enter the cockpit and regain control of the plane, then he tried to land at Christmas Island but the plane run out of fuel
@derekreinhardt7818Күн бұрын
Good theory but what if the copilot did this ? Also is it true that the copilot phone was turned on at some point? Also maybe it was a planned move by both pilots no one has looked at it this way .

The Netflix doc only covered 3 theories: 1) pilot 2) hijack 3) shot down by USA. Netflix never explored the accident theory. I wish they had because it can't be excluded without a full investigation. I don't know if the triple 777 had the capability to ghost fly the way it did, IF it did. It's a very sophisticated plane so perhaps it could have flown without pilots to wherever it ended up. Boeing wouldn't want that known because it increases their liability. I don't think there's enough evidence to conclude murder/suicide. Hijack is completely ridiculous; no evidence whatsoever. I don't believe President Barack Obama would have given the shoot down order. It's not in his psychological makeup. I would like to see the accident theory explored.

Grace, the accident theory does fit surprisingly well. Please look at my explanation I wrote a month ago. I do have 777 knowledge, and it could fly a ghost flight with no one at the controls. This is a complicated scenario and it would take Boeing to test this scenario, something they will not do publicly. Rgds.

I come across many explanations that this incident is related to some kind of electromagnetic technology. There is a narrative that a technology whose working principle is based on phase conjugation is used in an emergency. Among the facts about the incident that this theory family focuses on, there is evidence that a company that some of the passengers worked for may have worked on this type of technology.

An accident scenario does fit… the rupture of the O2 bottles in the left side of the avionics bay could cause the loss of transponder/satcom/comms and the autopilot. The subsequent hypoxic ghost flight is then autopilot off and with no one at the controls. This fits with ALL the known data we have without the need for unfounded speculation. 9/10 for the accident scenario!
@KnowTime2 ай бұрын
As much as I would like to believe the accident theory, a lot of the evidence points the other way (the controlled manoeuvring, no contact, no attempts to land, and the fact that the plane was not found anywhere near the ghost flight path)

@@KnowTimeduring the first turn back the pilots were still conscious and controlling the aircraft. After that the aircraft seems to be just meandering. The pilots then probably lost consciousness after a few minutes due to a decompression. The lack of any comms, easily explained by the damage to the left side of the avionics bay…. This scenario fits with the known evidence we have, without all the unnecessary speculation. Also remember it was the O2 system that was serviced just prior to this departure. After that first turn back there is no evidence of any further pilot input. It has been a big misconception that the aircraft flew on airways or turned in a normally controlled way. The only primary radar evidence released to date shows a meandering track until just past Penang….I maintain that this scenario fits, please carry on and find faults with it and I’ll try and answer.
@Bob314152 ай бұрын
@@Timbo7772 Primary radar shows the plane turning right (northwest) up the Straight of Malacca then left to the Indian Ocean. Also, there are the hourly satellite handshakes resulting in the seven circles of points equidistant from the satellite. Not to mention the debris that washed up on Reunion Island in 2015 that was positively identified as having come from MH370 is consistent with what is known about currents in that part of the Indian Ocean. There is little mystery left in this story.
@Timbo77722 ай бұрын
@@Bob31415, yes, primary radar shows the aircraft making a lazy turn NW just past Penang. So this turn could be made with no one at the controls and the aircraft is just meandering. After that there are no more Primary returns that have been released so we don’t know how the turns were performed. I agree of course, that the aircraft continued into the Southern Indian Ocean until it ran out of fuel.
@Bob314152 ай бұрын
@@Timbo7772 But that would be an amazing coincidence that it made that turn before reaching Indonesia and just happened to go straight up the Mallaca Straight and then just happened to make a left turn for the Indian Ocean, all without anyone at the controls.
