Hal malaysia selamatkan us ni dah lama, sapa tahu lepas peristiwa tu army mereka makin kuat. Duduk dalam rasa selesa kerana kehebatan lampau juga bahaya. Musuh sentiasa improve diri mereka, tapi kita masih di takuk lama kerana yakin kita kuat seperti masa dulu. In the cage, come high tide, the recruits will stay underwater for probably couple of hours or more, depends on tide strenght. Breathing are done through bamboo pipes. For safety precautions, senior divers are stationed all around the corners. 2) The Raised Hut = another version of it is, to tie oneself solo or duo, at least 15 feet above ground. You asked why they didn't open their boots? These are several "why" of many reasons. 1. They trained to always be prepared if, in a real situation (war), you will never know when and where the enemies are going to ambush you. If you weren't trained for, are you capable to fight back? 2. Fear and pain management. If you had a great number of skills when all of a sudden crap hits the face, are you able to actually do the horrible thing in which case with the shooter (enemies) with fast and accurate but your combat consistency you can actually do the horrible thing when you think you're going to die and chaos are all around, you being able to manage your fear and manage your pain that is so so big! Hope this answered, Sir. Malaysia Special Forces son's (Grup Gerak Khas GGK)

My father is a retiree of VAT69 Komando, a police version of Malaysia's commando with sand beret. Heard his story regarding the actual training, it's way worse than what was shown here. Here on preliminary it's more of physical challenge, the mental challenge is more about pushing your own limit. On actual training, some of the mental pressure involves actual life and death situation of your team mates and how you can survive alone in the jungle. I think movie PASKAL is a good representation of the challenges our special force need to face in their line of work so there's nothing but huge respect for them elites.

Hey Jameson, I'm from Singapore, served my national service, did my time. We're right by the south of Malaysia so I know the climate and the reason why some of us do not take our boots off during a break in the long march. At this point, our feet are already completely fucked. Removing our boots and changing our socks might cause the tender fucked up skin to break, and for the blisters to burst. That would make the pain far more unbearable than the discomfort we are already enduring. Because of how humid it is, the broken blisters will not dry in time for the next phase of the march. The damage to our feet during the next phase with broken skin, raw flesh against socks and boots would be way worse.

My uncle was sent to Vietnam as a second lieutenant. He had been in service for about 18 months. He was trained quite a bit on warfare, tactics etc. however he told me the real leader in his group was a sergeant whom had been in several battles and fire fights. He understood the situation and had the knowledge my uncle did not have of the jungle he also had a great relationship with the locals. My uncle said a college degree did not help him in this situation and he learned and leaned on this sergeant more than anyone. He said he told him, I have the rank but you are the leader of these men and any decisions that are made will run through you, sarge. They became very close and he said without the sarge, he does not believe he would have survived the first few months. So......no the rank does not make you a leader. I think my uncle was a leader because he was not afraid to know who he needed and and who he should listen to. They are still friends today. My uncle was wounded but he survived. They lost eighteen men in a fight and he was shot once and hit with shrapnel. Guess who helped carry him out? Yep...Sargent Buckner. My uncle knew he had earned the men’s respect when as they were loading him in the chopper the sergeant said to the medics, take damn good care of my lieutenant boys, he is a first class soldier.
@afiqazman66154 жыл бұрын
sounds like the movie Battle Los Angeles. the subplot is exactly like this. the difference is the lieutenant sacrificed himself to save his platoon and give the sergeant the leadership before he perished. he believe in the sergeant to ensure his platoon safety.

*TRUE STORY* Yearssss ago during oversea training in NZ, Malaysia we sent our squad too like US, UK, Aussie etc. It was really cold i read it was -30°c or something around that. Many armies from other country's squad got hypothermia. But Malaysian squad? Only one army got into hospital bcs he sprained his leg playing Takraw 🤣 when other squads were inside of their tents warming themselves, Malaysian squad was playing Takraw in the snow mannnn 😭🤣 TRUE STORY. SEARCH FOR IT IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME. I doubt it too until i found one of the army from our squad posted and told the story himself.
