Dark coloured meatball are my favourites. It is actually pork tendon meatballs. Normally it has some ginger mixed into it to add flsvour to the tendon.

That last meatball which had ginger in it are "meat tendon balls" I believe they are made with some connective tissue of pork to give it the unique texture. Please come back again to Malaysia!

Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your review. The chicken served in this restaurant is actually old hen not ayam kampung hence the texture of the meat is different.The old hen is cooked in the soup for certain amount of time before taking out of the soup leaving the essence and the sweetness of the old hen in the soup. ❤ Hearty and comforting bowl of chicken soup❤

Th'ng merely means soup in Chinese Hokkien dialect which is widely used amongst the Penang ethnic Malaysian Chinese while in KL and Ipoh, Cantonese is commonly spoken
