I was fortunate to be able to visit Ephesus and Meremanya when I was stationed in Karamursel Turkey in 1974. Ephesus is truly a magnificent site. Dud you see the round globe? People were supposed to think the earth was flat. Mary's home was amazing for us. When we stepped off the parking lot onto the grass it was like we had entered a different dimension. So peaceful so much love and positive energy we could physically feel it! It is like no other place we have ever visited. When we stepped off the grass back onto the paved parking lot it was we stepped back into the earthly plane! It was AMAZING 👏

Being a dad of a 7 year old son, I particularly loved seeing Micah's involvement in this video. I was in Ephesus back in 2006 well before he was born (even before I met my wife). I hope to come back and bring my family with me. My joy would be to see them experience this through their eyes for the first time. And when I was there, Ephesus was overrun with tourists. Elbow to elbow. Mark - I am amazed at the lack of crowds in your video! Loved it!

I love Ephesus! One of the best preserved ancient cities I’ve visited. I spent a couple of years working in Turkey and visited Ephesus 3 times. Each time was just as impressive as the previous times. The terrace houses are definitely a must as well. If you have the time, you should visit all 7 churches of revelation. Pamukkale has a very nice and well preserved theatre, better than Ephesus in my opinion.

Hi Mark, I really love your "second" channel and I actually prefer it to your main channel (with exceptions - one being the recent wonderful videos from Syria). The places you visit are less "mainstream" and more to my taste, and it also feels so much more private. As always, great work ! And Micah is growing up so fast. I am surprised that he doesnt have to go to school in Bangkok ??

Dear Mark Wiens; thank you for admiring my country Turkey (or Türkiye officially) and probably loving it so much. Trust me no other foreign vlogger would have uploaded this much videos from my country, especially knowing that you were there about 2 months ago. You been to Syria but still uploaded vlogs from Türkiye, you been to Malaysia but still uploaded vlogs from Türkiye. This shows how much you admired our culture, food, people and places you went and probably you loved our country so much that you can't stop uploading videos from our country still. If i had a chance i would have suggested to the authorities you to become our Tourism Ambassador of Türkiye, because you deserve it. Thank you and God bless you. ❤❤❤

Extraordinary!! Phenomenal documentation of our distant past!! Wow what a detailed excavation of historical inhabitants in this biblical world. This episode took us on a substantial journey through fascinating retrospective times of Christ & the apostles era. Love the massive pillars, dynamic architecture decor, mosaic flooring, ivory marble, & well persevered craftsmanship is a astronomical masterpiece of beauty. Btw, Micah is so smart & bright explaining significant attractions at the site just like his father being well informative. Great job!! 👍🏛🏞

One of your best videos, Mark. Only your first lunch was food-oriented. But the history... ! I could tell, given you're a Christian, that this place meant a lot to you as it was a focal point in the early days of that church. It is quite impressive. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Some may see you as a glorified tourist, and maybe that's not incorrect. But as in the ancient church in Syria, you seem a pilgrim at times. Nothing but respect, good sir. Your passion for your work is quite clear.
