A sadly missed hero. I've watched his documentaries and I'm in awe of his life. He's left an incredible legacy of what a real Australian is all about. His respect for the original Aboriginal owners of this land and nature will never again be replicated. Thanks old mate for your educational documentaries. 👍🏻🇦🇺😁

THE best Australian bushcraft documentary maker IMO - never boring, and always educational.

A great Australian. I wasn’t a dog enthusiast but watching Malcolm’s loyal dogs over the years certainly changed that. RIP Malcolm Douglas.

Sadly, Malcolm, and the other old characters of his stories, have slipped into our past; they were people who didn't judge, but listened and learnt, not much on 'modern' rules, but very much focused on living life. The knowledge we lose with each passing.

KZbin started spamming me Malcolm Douglas videos not sure if they changed anything but recently the algorithm seemed very restricted so fantastic to find these .What a rich vein of viewing. traveled up coast of WA in battered landcruiser 20 ya and brings back many memories, Malcom seems more light hearted and warm in this later series, nice bloke
