@@acharich OMG..THANK YOU! It bothers me when black people say that He was brought by white people. There were diverse religions and beliefs before slavery, christianity being one. However, it's true that the image has been whitewashed, as most of pre-slavery black history

@@acharich You are right. I am Ethiopian and Muslim. Jesus was known to Ethiopians long before the western world knew about him. Our Orhtodox Christian brothers paint him as black and afro. Islam was known to Ethiopians before the majority of Arabs even heard about Islam. Three Wise Men, who knew the birth of Jesus even before the people of Israel heard it, were Ethiopians. The first person who held Prophet Muhammed when he was born and who breast fed him was an Ethiopian black woman. Her name was Barakah. He called her his mother.
@ThatLady3654 жыл бұрын
@Griffiith I disagree with the idea that belief in Jesus is belief in a white man. Our ancestors were forced to submit to the image of Jesus and the white branding of Jesus during slavery, but nothing in the Bible says that Jesus is white or that Jesus is the Creator. People and places of the Bible, when understood in Hebrew meaning are very different than the European concept of the world because they were ignorant for centuries of the world beyond their own experiences. They were pagans before the Roman empire spread it's brand of Christianity which was a form state religion and a creation of doctrine.
