Maldives 2023 | Coco Bodu Hithi Luxury Resort | Which Package To Book

Is Maldives one of your dream holiday destinations? In this video, I am going to take you to one of the luxurious private island resorts in Maldives, Coco Bodu Hithi, and give you the overview and show you our experience in this beautiful resort. After 4 nights in Male city, we checked into this Coco Bodu Hithi private island resort. There are 1200 islands in Maldives, and 130 of them are private islands built with luxurious hotel and resorts. Coco Bodu Hithi is one of the many, and it’s only 30 kms northwest of Male international airport. The hotel staff picked us up from the Male international airport as part of the booking package.
As soon as we stepped into the island, we felt welcome, relax and home. We were assigned a private check-in butler, who will the main contact for our entire stay. Our booking includes 2 nights at the beach villa and 2 nights at the Coco residences, which are the top category property in this resort. I would recommend you book for Full Board (including accommodation and 3 meals), unless you are a big drinker, then you should book for ‘All inclusive’, which includes 3 meals, alcohol and some activities.
Upon check-in, we were told that the resort policy prohibits drones. However, after repeated requests and negotiation, we were permitted only to fly the drone early in the morning, and not to get close to each property due to privacy, which I was happily agree to. So, those footages did not come easy, I hope you enjoyed them.

September is still within the raining season, however, I suggest you should check the website www.accuweather.com for the monthly forecast and see. We did that, and took the chance last minute and it turned out to be brilliant weather for our entire 10 days stay in Maldives in August, except that one afternoon on the island…. ⛈️

I know it depends on the weather but did you find the boat transfer to be quite rough? I ask because I am pregnant and we have booked our holiday for early September☺️

@@natashawilliams6040 Congrats for the baby! We had the same experience as you, it was our baby moon trip to Maldives. The boat ride was a bit rough, 5 out of 10 I would say, we were worried as well, as my girlfriend was 6 months pregnant at the time of the visit. The driver told us to sit at the back of the boat and lay back down a bit so to mitigate the roughness. Worried but turned out Ok. I’ve planned to take drone there too. Since drone is prohibited, I’m wondering how you got aerial footages for your KZbin video.

I was lucky enough to obtain one off chance and approval from the hotel management to fly the drone, provided I obey to their strict conditions and rules, such as only fly it in the early morning when no one is around, also not allowed to fly close to any of the villas and properties. I stated this in the video, you should see it if you watch the full video.
