Great video here. I've been to the Maldives 5 times and stayed at Gili Lankanfushi (which was very expensive). Reethi, Paradise Island Resort, Meeru Island Resort and Baros - all of them were fantastic. I do agree it is only a beach holiday but yes I did see herons, reef sharks, dolphins, small lizards, crabs, starfish and stingrays without any snorkelling. Snorkelling is a must do in The Maldives, which I did but beware of the lionfish (and yep I've seen turtles, different tropical fishes and an octopus while snorkelling). Some resorts do Island Hopping Tours, Sunset Cruises, Trips to Exclusive Islands owned by the resort you are staying. Watersports like Jet skiing and Parasailing are good fun. I agree that water villas are the best which I stayed in on 4 of my visits, the other time I stayed was in a beach villa. A day trip to Male is also worth doing as well. I'm glad you did another video regarding budget because there are affordable resorts in The Maldives but it depends on the time of season you go. Best time is usually January until April but that's when it is the most expensive - however during these times you can still find affordable resorts. On one time I've been to The Maldives I did combine this with Sri Lanka which is close by which I recommend travellers to do if you can afford to do so. I'll look at your Budget video of The Maldives and see what I could add from my experience

I was thinking of doing Sri Lanka as well, however I might be short on time, and I’ll be travelling from Goa, as wedding is there, then head back to London after the honeymoon. I think I would rather come back to Sri Lanka and do a solid 2 weeks or more, rather than a week, as I think a shorter time in Maldives is more justifiable, considering my time factor and honeymoon experience.

Hi there! This was shot on iPhone X, 1080, 60fps using the native camera app. That’s always what I film with settings wise. I now have a XS and am currently shooting in 1080, 30fps. Keep an eye out for this Sunday when I’ll be releasing another iPhone X video of Santorini which looks great also!
