I just got back from our honeymoon in the Maldives and stayed in a similar villa. Watching this video from numbing cold Europe makes me feel so nostalgic. It was heaven on earth. Have fun, Lucie and Michael! I love your videos.

Great choice @kaitystarr16. Those were the top on my list too. We were planning our honeymoon for end of February 2020 in Santorini because that's where he proposed but tbh, the island is dead and the water cold in the beginning of the year. But elsewhere in Greece was nice when we went in end-March 2019 as there were fewer visitors than in summer. Seychelles was recommended to us too and we seriously considered it. But after a lot of research, we thought Maldives was slightly more developed for tourism and honeymooners. We just came back from the Maldives and it did not disappoint. It was like a dreeammmm.... It was the most spectacular place I have ever seen and the hospitality and efficiency was impressive (trust me, I live in Switzerland). I would definitely recommend going to the Maldives. Okk... well, no one asked and this is the first ever time I've ever replied to a comment on YT, but the memory is so fresh and I'm still so overwhelmed that I had to share this. Good luck!!

This is on my bucket list and I even looked into it for my honeymoon a couple years ago, but couldn’t afford it at the time. Now that we have a baby on the way, it’ll have to wait longer, but I hope we can in the future! Thanks for sharing!

insane!!! wow! so beautiful!!! its funny..I was thinking...of course its expensive- I would probably never BUT. think about what people spend on the WEDDING! ha..I would rather forget that cost, and spend it on this!! At least you are there a few days or a week..A $50, 000 wedding reception is over in 4-6 hours!! think about that newly weds!!! be smart with your money!!
