These videos from PHLster are definitely the most useful self-help CCW holster-carrying information I have found for free on any platform.

Basically, looking at the pictures they are pretty much in the same area. Just a little to the left or right. 😊

Crossdraw appendix here, as a lefty. Barrel tucks at 1:00, slight forward cant.
@charlesbeall25896 ай бұрын
Yep, I'm still experimenting with my PDP F-(atty) carrying appendix at 5'9" 170lbs. By forward cant, do you mean muzzle pointing to the left?
@pondacres6 ай бұрын
@@charlesbeall2589 To clarify, it's more like 12:30ish position. But yes, the barrel tilts slightly towards my centerline, I found that's the best spot for my body type in terms of concealment and comfort.

I notice that very few, if any, here have their bias to the weak side. I find that centering the grip at 12:00 with just the slightest weakside bias to keep the belt clip off of the fly and a slight weakside cant makes for the most comfortable carry and the least amount of printing. (Belt buckle at 9:00) This gives me the maximum amount of room when bending over as the muzzle can not jam into either thigh. The slight weakside bias and cant doesn't slow my draw down enough to make any difference. My belly button is my landmark reference point to position the knuckle of my thumb when grabbing the grip and I can then pull nearly straight up with the draw. It works well for me.

Same same here. Took a bit of experimenting to finally be happy with comfort and concealment. I have my backplate pretty much inline with my belly button with my red dot off to my weak side. Conceals the grip much easier and everything lays pretty flat across the front I’m an average overweight male.

Where's the 50+y/o American dad bods between number 1 and 3!? Pretty sure I should just use 1 as a guideline but been dialing in my Enigma express for a couple weeks, trying to get the sitting/standing stuff right.

What do you mean by peaks and valleys I consider myself average height with a gut that hangs over my waist
@OriginCorey9 ай бұрын
I am a very thin tall male. Anywhere in between 3 and 9 i print like a publisher. I found my sweet spot to be 4 oclock, in the valley between the peak of my hip and the peak of my glute. Any thoughts on this?

I find that position also to work for me as a pretty tall skinny guy. Takes a little work to draw from seated positions though
