Good video. I like The thought of having a consistent plan every time I go out to the beach to fish

Slow your retrieve. Keep rod tip up. Avoid pointing your rob straight out to the Gulf. Horsing a quality fish in often ends in heartbrache. Tight lines brotha!

Great information on target areas and distance. Nice way to handle the guy that was cluelessabout etiquette..Tony F. With fishgum had a simar experience with some beach goers. He ended up giving them some fish.

Constructive comment on regards to the fish coming off in the intro, slow it down a bit. Take your time reeling in when pomp fishing. They have a super soft mouth and jerky rod strokes or reeling in really fast can allow the hook to create a bigger hole letting the hook fall out much easier

Great input, buddy. See you at the tournament? Fasl Blast.

What kind of surf spikes are you using?

They were made by Beach Power Manufacturing. Open face. It took me a few trips to get used to them, but now I love them.

Definitely crowded your space. When you mentioned that you were setup at 5:30AM, he didn’t want to hear it. Go figure.✌️ Ps: He has no idea what a Sputnik Weight is.

I’d just sacrifice that one rod- throw an empty weight out to keep getting tangled up when he crosses it. Looked like he only had one rod out. So that’s 100% of his lines tangled. But only 25% of yours. Could be more fun than catching fish.
