Hi Heidi, well that was a real look behind the curtain girl. I don't think a lot of people realize the attention to detail and different products that are used to get the final results, great job. I was most interested in how much you were contouring, I have a lot of women in Sephora that have no idea where or how to do it. I hope there was a little editing, because I never get it perfect without a q tip or two for touching up something. I'm jealous. I wish we could sit down and talk, I have so many ideas. Concealers, primer, color corrector, moisturizer, setting (spray or powder), eye pallet, bronzer, omg. This was fun, thanks. Well it's my turn now, I've got to get ready for work soon. Peace Sheila.

Finally got round to watching this and I am so glad I did! Once you put the eyeliner on, we have those famous 'Phoxy Eyes'! I certainly like the fine tuning you do to get to the overall 'Heidi' look so today, I have learnt something useful....and fun! Something I've learned from women around me as well as my own very limited experiences is being a woman (in most cases) is actually a fair amount of work! There is a lot of preparation and planning and construction that goes on before she can step out the door. There is also a fair amount of artistic skill to learn that can't be rushed if she doesn't want her eyebrows making her look surprised all day! From a practical standpoint, I'm glad to just be a guy (-most of the time...): shave, shower, clothing, shoes and I'm ready for action! Even better is if the guy is bald: a friend of mine that lost all his hair maybe 20 years ago says "Give me a bar of soap and a towel and I can go anywhere!". -It is of course nice to choose one way or the other when the time is right!

Many years ago I dated a gal who always wore makeup to some extent. I loved date night because she would spend about 45 minutes putting it on. It was worth the wait. The eye makeup is the best part for me. It's almost like a form of art. And then finish it off with a nice glossy color of lipstick. Just doesn't get any better. That's interesting, I can pinpoint the exact moment I saw Heidi staring back at me. You finished framing your eyes with the wings, a bit of shadow. Then just as the pencil touched brow. Before the stroke was made. It was enough and my mind filled in the details. But there she was just then. 😊

I just watched the "Male to Female Make-Up Demo" what a very wonderful video, thank you so much for sharing. I must ask, (just curious) who has more makeup you or the wife? Do you enjoy spending the time doing your makeup, getting everything just right? I know I love it, I love liquid eye liner, a lot of others have told me it's to hard and unforgiving of mistakes. I just understand it takes lots of practice and a very steady hand.

I think it's pretty even. I have a lot of foundation because I've tried a lot of different clearance shades and she knows exactly what she likes. She has a ton of nail polish. If I have time I really enjoy putting on some music, slipping into a silk robe, getting my makeup out, and taking my time to bring Heidi out.
