Sean, you and Adam just blew my mind with this one. I am kicking myself because I was just in south Pasadena a month ago, doing a walking tour of locations from Halloween II for the 40th anniversary and I completely bypassed looking for the Rob Zombie Halloween filming locations. I was in the park/ location, back of the library, across from Laurie Strodes house and I am so mad I did not do my research / capture the locations for High School and elementary school. They were right there. I was at the Myers House location back in 2019. It looked exactly the same except it wasn’t boarded up. Thanks so much again for this. Thank you for all the hard work it took putting this together. I need to rewatch the doc that was put out with the unrated collectors edition of the film. Best always Sean. You will always be my hero

Another great video Sean. I thought I would share a little something with you. I actually went to Los Angeles city College in the 90s. Actor Sydney Lasik of the original “Carrie” film was the drama teacher there. I wish there had been cell phones with cameras back then I would’ve totally gotten a picture with him. But it was so wild to see him as an actual teacher as well.

Super cool dude. I really enjoyed this vid. I find it interesting that so many spots were from Rob's and the original. Also that other movies were shot in the same area, and that you somehow knew that. I wonder how certain neighborhoods or buildings come to be movie locations for so many films. I remember ass kid going to Universal Studios and was fascinated by the back lots. I wonder how they decide when to use real locations versus back lots and soundstages. If you did a video on that would be interesting. I will be watching more of your videos. Keep up the good work!

Great work as usual Sean. Halloween 1978 and 2007 share another location then, as the Smith's Grove TV scenes in Halloween 1978 were also filmed at the West Los Angeles VA, in building 205, 208 or 209! I managed to work out that location many years ago as there was nothing online about it at the time.

Man I would love to be able to verify that. Sadly as you can see it looks like they have all been gutted and remolded so it is unlikely there is anything left identifiable inside. It would be great if that class room with seating in the round where they talk to Loomis was still there.

I couldn't help notice something you had a question about the headless statue you asked about in video about 1:50 in. You said lady from people under stairs owned both houses and when you showed scene from p.u.t.s I couldn't help but notice the statues and if you look in far back there is a headless one. Since woman owned both houses it seems it would make sense she could have at one time moved it across street. Could be wrong but definitely fits statue collection and if same would probably look great in your yard and lady seemed she would probably part with it at decent price.. just saying I could be wrong but I'm attention to detail.

The cemetery scene which was on the workprint was way better than what we got imo, but if I recall RZ said he had to reshoot it to match the timeline of other scenes that were also reshot. It was obviously dusk in the original cut which didn't fit I guess. A shame, it was a great shot.
