I’m having the same issue I thought it was just the power seats creating a draw but it could be alternator/batter since it’s reading about 12.5v

The biggest electrical issue with the w211 is the voltage regulator which is connected to the alternator and is $25. Most people think it’s a bad alternator but in most cases it’s just this

You should get it replaced every 80k miles

It is really frustrating when you have a parasitic power drain in your car. If you have the time and a multimeter, you can try tracing where the drain is coming from. But if not, I would advise you to take it to be checked by a proper car electrician.

@@KingRQ95 Yes, you may have everything new installed to the car but if the drain is still there, it is going to drain the new battery.

@@all-about-cars-basics okay . At first I found the drain it was my radio that doesn’t work because of water that got into it . I disconnected the fuse and I haven’t lost power for months but it has came back so yea I’ll try and find the parasitic draw again

I had the same error, I cleaned the contacts on the two terminals of the large battery. The positive terminal was rusty

Did that work the trick?

@floridaman5125 Yes, that too can cause the consumer switch off malfunction.
